A lot of people were commenting, "I don't think it's a little girl. I think it's a demonic entity." There could have been a demonic thing there. When children are harmed, I think it is like this next level of evil. And like, who knows what seeps in. Yeah. Very spooky.

Hey everyone, welcome to Two Girls, One Ghost. It's very weird to do it by myself cuz usually Karen says it and I whisper it.

But today we are joined by a very, very special guest, Alexis Linkletter.

Hi.

Who we just started a new show together, Crimes of Reddit. If you haven't heard it yet or listened to it yet, are you like Patrick and living under a rock? What are you doing? But I'm very excited to have you join me as a special guest today on Two Girls My

1:00

Ghost. I am honored. I'm so excited. You have some crazy stories that you have shared with me about your life, but also I need you to tell everyone. Well, we'll get there. But the story, I think you know what I'm going to say. The under the bed story.

Oh yeah. I need you to tell me about it. But first, will you tell everyone a little bit about you? Sure. So, like

welcome Alexis

Sabrina said, we were brought together

by the universe,

by the universe to co-host Crimes of Reddit together. But before that, well, and during right now still, I co-host the first degree with my best friend, Doc Vanic. And before that, I was hosting a podcast for Investigation Discovery called Unraveled, which chronicled all my reporting on the Long Island serial killer case,

which your reporting on the Long Island serial killer case is topnotch. Like, you are an incredible journalist.

Thanks. You even have a book coming out?

Yes, I have a book coming out um early next year called Between the Devil and the Tide.

So, check that out.

Yeah. But yeah, we were brought together to do Crimes of Reddit and we have been

2:00

basically deep diving into the darkest corners of the internet on Reddit, finding stories that people have shared about kind of all sorts of crimes. We've got stalker stories, learning secrets about your family, confessions. The one we recently read about the woman who went to a party with her husband where they were like forcing girls to eat strange things off tables like insects and eyeballs and bull testicle smoothies for money and then filming them. Really strange stuff. And I think that's exactly why Reddit is such an amazing place to mine stories cuz like people are going there to spill their guts cuz they don't have anywhere to turn and that's always about something strange cuz otherwise they tell their friends

and that's why we love Reddit cuz you can go to it anonymously and share stories. And also on Two Girls because we love Reddit for paranormal stories because traditionally or stereotypically unfortunately some people view the paranormal or paranormal experiences as very taboo or a lot of people don't have

3:00

people who believe them

and so they can share their stories on Two Girls One Ghost or on Reddit and still be judged but anonymously so it feels a little bit safer. So, in honor of Crimes of Reddit and everything we're talking about in regards to Reddit, we picked a couple of stories about the paranormal from Reddit that we are going to share. But first, everyone needs to know, do you believe in ghosts?

Yes. Okay, great. Cuz if you didn't, I don't think we'd be friends. [laughter]

No. Um, yeah. I just think it would be really arrogant to assume that we understand everything about

everything.

About everything. And also just like physics. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. I think energy transfers in ways that we don't understand.

Agreed. Yeah.

You're in good company there. Yeah. I

Alexis was a creepy kid

want to hear about your experience with the paranormal because I don't know a ton about it.

But first, can you tell the story where I was a ghost?

Where you my parents

are the most horrifying creepy kid cuz we love creepy kids stories here on this

4:00

podcast. I even picked my Reddit story as a creepy kid story, but this might be one of the creepiest kids stories I've ever heard. And I wasn't a creepy little girl, I don't think.

Yes, you were.

Apparently, I was. So, I was like a sleepwalker.

I was really doing really weird sleepwalking stuff.

Mhm.

And apparently one day I was like six or something. I snuck out of my bedroom sleepwalking and my parents were asleep in their beds and apparently I'd like crawled under their bed and like I was just screaming like screaming bloody murder.

Top of your lungs.

Yeah. Like I cuz I woke up under there and didn't know where I was and my parents like probably stopped loving me. I don't know.

So your parents are asleep in bed.

Yeah. It's like in the middle of the night

dreaming about butterflies. Who knows? Something something peaceful. And they wake up to their child blood curdling screaming and find you beneath their bed screaming.

Creepy kid. You're right.

That's horrifying.

That's really scary.

5:00

Terrifying.

Yeah. That was me.

That was That was me.

Lave the groundwork for everything to follow.

Yeah. And that's not your paranormal story. No, fall is here and kids are

Hungryroot

going back to school and schedules are getting busier and I really fall off my routine of cooking and getting healthy groceries, which is why I turn to Hungry Routt. It is the only food service that handles everything. They also read every label so you don't have to. And you can put in your dietary preferences like I'm vegetarian, Karen's gluten-free, and has allergies. And they put together groceries that ship to your door. Alexis’s ghost story

What's your ghost story?

So, I want to contextualize it first.

Okay.

I grew up in a really scary old house. Like

really scary. Built in like, you know, 1860,

right?

Like secret doors. love weird basement stuff.

What does that mean?

Weird. Like it had like a coal room because it was back when like

Oh, that's cool.

when it was like things were run with coal. It had like a big room with like a stage and like taxiderermy heads of animals like back from the 1800s, you know, like a really creepy creepy

family kept all that in.

There were no no mounted on the walls in a different room. But like the house was just if I was going to see a ghost, it was probably going to be there. But I never saw a ghost the entire time I lived there. Not a single weird thing.

7:00

And I was creeping around the house at night. Nothing. So

yeah,

I had never had any experiences until like last year.

Like never in your entire life?

Never.

Experience until last year.

Mhm. I was visiting my aunt on Long Island.

Okay.

And she lives in the house that was my grandmother's. So my grandmother passed away. My aunt lives in the house now.

Okay. And it's like another historic house on Long Island. It's like four stories and like colonial interesting interesting house. And my mom lived there.

So the guest room is like her bedroom. Okay.

Now um she lived there at one point when she was growing up.

So I was visiting with Matt, my husband, and no one has ever seen a ghost here either. Ever.

Okay.

At all. Not my aunt or my cousins who like live there and went to high school there.

Okay. And how long ago did your grandma pass away? My grandma passed away probably eight years ago, but the house was originally she lived there with her husband um who was my mom's stepdad and he was a doctor and he like delivered like half my friend's dad's on Long Island.

8:00

Okay.

And he died first. So he died I didn't even know him. He died before I was born.

Yeah.

But again, no one's ever said anything like there's never been any ghosts.

Yep. So me and Matt are sleeping in the third floor guest room and it's like sort of a rainy night and like in the middle of the night I woke up and I had complete [ __ ] sleep paralysis. Like

complete sleep paralysis and there was like something over me in bed.

Was it leaning over?

Yes.

From the side like it looked like it was standing leaning over. Okay.

I was sweating and like it was a strange It was like a tangible figure though. Like

Oh my gosh. And I couldn't wake I couldn't fully wake myself up and like I don't remember how long it lasted but eventually I went back to sleep but like I remembered it in the morning. I'm like that was [ __ ] really weird.

Do you feel like you fell back to sleep out of fear? Like your body just kind of shut down.

It was just like I was really disoriented. You know like how sleep paralysis can be like fever dreamy.

It was like that where I was like hot and I like wanted to turn over on my side and couldn't

but I saw this thing and it wasn't like

9:00

it wasn't a human-shaped thing. It was like

Oh,

it was tall, but it was like brown, green. It was like a earthy color.

Interesting.

And it wasn't like a human face, but it was like

a shadow type figure.

Sure.

But like I couldn't make out a face or like the sex of the thing or whatever.

What was your feeling? I mean, obviously it's disorienting and in the moment you're probably focusing on the fact that you can't move, but did you get negative energy from it? Okay. It was weird though because the presence was like very very there somebody hovering.

But it was not scary like you're in danger cuz like I fell back asleep eventually. The next morning I was like holy [ __ ] Like I woke up and I told Matt, my husband, like what had happened

and he's like I felt really weird stuff too.

We don't say this. This isn't something we say.

This is something we've never experienced. Like we don't really [ __ ] each other.

Right. That's also good. I'm glad you don't [ __ ] each other.

Just about stuff like that. We're not

10:00

like over the top about like, "Ooh, this thing." We're not like

You're not like me where I'm like,

"Yeah,

that earthquake that rattled my bed was a ghost." And then I find out it was actually an earthquake,

right?

Well, it's just I know it was real because I'm an adult

and I would not be wrong about this,

right? Like you trust yourself to know.

And I've had a lot of dreams like that. Like I've had a lot of sleep paralysis, not like this. This was like temperature in the room shifting like

Okay. But can we also talk about you've had sleep paralysis before?

Yeah. Along with sleepwalking. I've had a ton of like sleep paralysis, restless leg syndrome, a lot of like sleep disruption. Okay.

Um now I get a lot of insomnia. Like I've always struggled

but this was the first time where like there was like something there

something with it you know other than like and it wasn't a nightmare like it was definitely like I saw the trees moving outside with the wind

and like heard the AC kicking on like I was awake. Yeah, but I couldn't like investigate the figure cuz I couldn't move and I couldn't even really turn my head.

Yeah. I mean, we've read a lot of

11:00

stories on our podcast about sleep paralysis. And there's also been a lot of studies where I feel like the scientific community is trying to gaslight the paranormal community where they're like it's like a weird brain chemical mixup, which maybe sure it's in some situations, but then there's just too many encounters with shadow figures or with entities standing in the corner for there not to be something more and something paranormal to it. Well, it could be like a portal opening, you know, where cuz like if the part of your brain and like it's funny, I learned about anesthesia like you don't really go to sleep when you get put under for surgery. Doctors just put a part of your brain asleep like

they just turn a part of your brain off. So, I've heard stories where like patients when they're getting surgery, they open their eyes and stuff, but they're still completely I've never heard that.

Yeah. So, it's that it's completely possible. Well, the fact like the fact that you can even be in a dream state that you sort of misfire and you you wake up a little but can't move your body like that's just a switch in your brain that has been not is misfiring,

12:00

right? Like so I feel like with our senses they say we only use a part like so much of our brain every day like

it could open some portal where you can see things that are there normally

but like maybe that thing would have been there and I never would have felt it. Well, I also think about, and this is the argument that I use, that there are animals that are seeing colors that we as humans physically cannot see. And then there's plants communicating like we can't hear it. There's just so much that we as humans are limited to.

Sabrina, I just went to a lecture about birds.

Yep. [laughter]

You see it on this.

So, I learned that birds are one of those animals that their their spectrum is like twice as large as ours as far as what they can see. So they're seeing the color indigo that could be everywhere in this room, but we don't have the ability. They can see double the colors we can see. So imagine if there's like things in your brain where it's like, what about molecules like that we just can't see that exist, but we can't

13:00

perceive them.

We just can't see them. We are limited.

Completely agree.

So what was so interesting about this thing at my aunt's house is that my aunt has lived there now for like 30 years. So, I told her about it and I was like, "Hey, has anyone ever said anything about something weird on the third floor?" And uh she's like, "Never." Like, my cousins know, their their wives know. My cousins have been there a long time cuz like I said, they went to high school there. But I never stayed at this house as a like my best friend lives down the street. So, I always stayed with her and visit my aunt.

But this time, my best friend had visitors.

So, I stayed with her. So, I truly think it was the first time I'd stayed there since I was like a kid.

Yeah. So it was I feel my theory is that my like my grandma like was excited to see me

for sure

because she had seen the kids my other cousins a lot and maybe visited them when

they were old news.

Well like maybe visited them when they were boys and they didn't perceive it like they would as an adult you know or also like the fact that you happened to wake up in that moment. Who knows how long the entity or like the being was

14:00

standing there.

Yeah. Yeah. And it might not have been my grandma at all, but like that would make sense, especially cuz I had Matt with me and like she loved boys.

She loved like her granddaughter's boyfriends. Like she loved she favored her sons, my uncles.

She just like would have been excited if she were alive to meet him.

Reddit story: who's the old lady?

out. And when I was looking on Reddit for paranormal stories, I found something super similar that like I was like, "Oh, this maybe validates."

Oh, interesting. Okay.

Yeah. So, it's quick. Let me just um

Great. Let's hear it.

It says this. This is 26 days ago.

Oh, it's super fresh.

Girl I was dating and now my wife came over when I was about 19, 20 years old to my parents house. She leaves my room and goes to the bathroom. Comes back 5 minutes later freaked out. I ask her, "What's up? Why are you looking weirded out?" She replies, "Who's the old lady here?" I say, "The only other lady here is my mom." And she said, "No, the old lady is in her 80s in a night gown and

16:00

was smiling at her when she opened the bathroom door to go to the bathroom."

And there's no old lady that's supposed to be there at all.

Right.

So, fast forward to morning. We leave my room early and my mom has lots of family photos hanging on the walls. My now wife points and goes, "That's the lady I saw last night." I look over and it's a picture of my great-grandmother who passed away only 3 months before. What's really weird is my mother and I were talking maybe a week before this happened that my great grandma would have loved to meet

my wife, my girlfriend, because I think she's the one. She would have loved it.

So,

I know it gives me the chills a little bit. And um she said it really weirded me out, but I'm glad she got to see my wife.

And people go back and forth. Did you ever experience anything like this before? If not, it probably was your great-g grandandmother giving her approval. And you said no, I hadn't. And that's why I was like, "Oh, like I think that could be it, you know."

Well, 100. I think also, especially in this story, she saw every detail of this woman and then saw the photo of the

17:00

great grandmother and was like, "That's who I saw in the hallway." So, she had no knowledge of who she was before

or who passed away like 3 months ago. Like, so that is it's so interesting when you see stories like that cuz they're very hard to question. And I wanted to also tell my story first. Yeah. Because I didn't, it's not made up, but I also felt like I was there and like my grandmother like used to give me a hard time about men and I feel like she would have been like I think she would have been excited to meet my husband. So I think she was like scoping it out and like

or it was not.

Yeah.

You know, but like my aunt said they've never experienced a single weird thing there at all, but maybe they've been there. So like maybe it's imperceptible to them because they're used to it.

Yeah. because it's like a super like these houses on Long Island as I'm sure you know in Boston they're really old. Everything caks in the night whether you're walking around or not. So you kind of dismiss a lot,

right? Or like it's just the house.

It's just the house. Like things creek and sway and old windows, things howl in the night with the wind. You dismiss almost everything. And I do think it is

18:00

a common I mean the one thing I've learned in doing this podcast for nine years that K and I both agree on is that the more we talk about the paranormal the less we know. But I do think there's a commonality when in a lot of ghost stories especially when like family members coming to visit or in houses. It's like when someone new comes into the house, it tends to stir stuff up because they're curious.

Or if there's like big construction and changes being made to the house because then the spirits are like, "What's happening? I don't like I like my things the way that they are. What are you doing?"

So, it makes sense. Yeah. And I also think if your intuition and your gut says that it was your grandmother

or another friendly goat I mean

it's really hard to know like I don't know like you tell me cuz you've you've heard so many of these stories but like would it be normal for a spirit to come into a house that they have nothing to do with and do something like that? Like I mean less common again like I don't know the rules of the paranormal world. I would love to one day and if if I can

19:00

apply to be a grim reaper one day I would love to. But I think it is more common to have some type of attachment. But again, am I viewing that from like a human brain wanting ration like something rational? I don't know.

Oh, yeah. For all we know though, too, it's like maybe the house is buried on a Native American graveyard, you know?

Well, maybe even like

the neighbor,

you and Matt passed something and the spirit got interested in you that day and followed you to where you were sleeping.

It really didn't feel scary, though. And I fully fully fully believe it like with every fiber of my being. also fully fully fully believe it.

And what you said was really interesting about like sleep paralysis being a thing that happens a lot. Um because like do you have you ever had it? I've had it one time really and it was horrifying. It was a [clears throat] negative experience.

Do you think it made you closer to like a entity or something? Like why would you

I know 100% it was a negative entity that was and I'll tell you the story. I've said it so many times on the podcast. It was after I went and did a ghost tour in Edinburgh, Scotland. And I

20:00

had done something that I know better that I know to not do, but I did it. I basically invited a spirit that is known to be negative to come find me. And then that night I had sleep experience and I felt like something was like trying to be like, "Don't you dare tempt me cuz I will [ __ ] find you." That's really scary. It was horrifying. It's funny you say that though, too, because after my experience, Matt didn't chime in at all when I mentioned this experience to my aunt, but he mentioned it in our rental car after we left. And he's like, you're not supposed to talk about it in the house. And he's like, I felt it too, but I wasn't going to bring it up because it invites them in. I do think it depends on intention. I think in this specific instance in Edinburgh, I was playing a dangerous game and cuz I think when it comes to the paranormal, intention is the most important thing. If you had a experience that wasn't negative or you didn't feel like was negative and you believed to be a loved one that maybe you want to know more about, I think it's okay to be like to the spirit who visited me, like you're welcome to come visit me again, but you're not allowed

21:00

to scare me and like set boundaries. Whereas in my situation, I knew what I was doing was wrong. And in my head, I was like, I don't mean it. I don't mean it, but it was too late. I'm doing two contradicting things.

Yeah. Yeah. What you were saying about sleep paralysis though is like and I don't know how yours is and I'm sure everyone's is different. It has this like seizure like feeling and it's very like stigmatic like it feels like you know what I mean where it's like you're sweating you're

disorientated so alert.

Yeah.

But you're not connecting to your body.

Yeah. And like it feels though like cuz you know have you ever seen a scan of a brain having a seizure?

No. It's like lighting up in complete misfire where it's like it's why like your face contorts and like you shake and like

everything is kind of hijacked.

And it really reminds me um not that I've had a seizure, but it's like it's that sort of loss of control the same way. And I would love to see a scan of like um a sleep paralysis brain

versus a seizure brain.

Let's see.

22:00

have a brain during sleep paralysis,

but I just love to see if it's similar to Have you guys talked about stigmata on the podcast?

Very briefly,

cuz I wonder that's like a portal where you can communicate with God, I think, or the devil.

That's the idea. Yeah.

So, it's like I just wonder if that is like a portal, you know, where a different part of your brain maybe maybe they have to shut one part off. When I say they, it's like maybe this is just how it works where it's like you can't move because if the spirits, you can't make any big movements if they're, you know, in the room with you or something like there's got to be some survival mechanism. So, they do have entirely different electrical signatures, sleep paralysis and seizures. But again, I feel like they haven't done enough studies. This is me being the paranormal girl. But it shows a mixed hybrid state. The conscious mind displays waking like brain waves alpha and theta rhythms while the body remains locked in a

23:00

remage muscle paralysis. Then the fear center the amydala lights up with high activity while the rational thinking part your prefrontal cortex stays subdued during a sleep paralysis experience.

Interesting.

It is interesting. And maybe like the amydala that is your fear, right?

Yeah.

There's something primal about that, right? like maybe that makes you more perceptive to your surroundings and then you can pick up a preser because I don't believe your consciousness lives in your brain.

Okay. Where do you think it lives?

I think it's a part of like the soul.

Okay. And I say that because there are cases of people who are deemed brain dead and yet they their consciousness is aware of everything that's happening. like they come out of this like brain dead state and I don't know how many cases there is but I'm thinking of specifically Jake Handel who Karen did blink with

and there was zero brain activity. He

24:00

woke up from this brain deadad state and had stories of like conversations that nurses were having. He recalled like the outfit his mom was wearing and every act like everything she did that when he was brain dead.

Mhm. which to me implies that your consciousness doesn't live in your brain. So then I'm like, is a sleep paralysis state a a combination of and this can get so woowoo because again like I don't know the science of it, but is your consciousness living somewhere else and like momentarily because when you're in the sleep state, you're like more open to things that you're conscious is awake but your body is not. I think that is of course a possibility. I think another possibility is that neurologists don't understand the brain as much as they think they do, which also because if somebody's brain dead, they're like, "Oh, there's no activity in this brain." Clearly, there [ __ ] was.

Yeah, that's what I um you're wrong. And what else don't you understand about the

25:00

brain in terms of like

our ability to perceive

this larger spectrum of color or like they also talk about deja vu a lot, you know? When I say they, it's just,

you know, people they try to boil it down. They scientists, opthalmologists, but with some just delay with like your optic nerve and your retina.

Have you had a lot of déja vu?

All the time, but like I'm just like I was probably drunk and forget forget and I'm now saying it again like

Yeah. There there's that version of deja vu, but then there's other ones where you are in a moment and you're like, I experienced this before, which makes me think time and I know time is not linear.

Yeah, I think everything is happening all at once. It's such a woo woo fun conversation.

Okay, but no, there's more. What about what do you think about people who like get hit in the head and then wake up and can like speak French and like have never took taken a French lesson,

but like what is that? Or even sants too. Well, like children who can play a

26:00

piano like Beethoven or people Yes. Yeah. Like at 3 years old.

At three years old. Or what about even people who are non-verbal? There's a lot of theories that it's like they're communicating just not with you. Have you listened to telepathy tapes?

No, but I've been meaning to. It's wild. I've been meaning to.

Yeah. I think there's just so much that we don't understand and that's kind of how we started this podcast when I asked you to believe in the paranormal. I just I think we're limited. We there's so much we don't know. What do you think about past lives as it relates to the paranormal? Like is there a connection there or are past lives just in the past?

I believe in reincarnation

and I we've read some very convincing stories where again like who am I to say? I think anything is possible.

There's not a single hill I will die on. Wow.

I just don't think we can be arrogant enough to be like 100% anything.

I agree. And when someone is so stuck on in their ways and closedminded, I'm I just don't even want to entertain a

27:00

conversation with you because then you're also not open to growing and learning. No, it's And science even in the last like 50 years has evolved so much. We're constantly learning new things. Yeah. like all this stuff about you know metaphysics and quantum physics like if you can't if you can't just like read a little bit about that and see what they're actually telling us that like we are existing in other dimensions like the scientists are literally saying it

and then you're like no paranormal no it's like okay they literally have like science that like something's happening after you die that's like lifting out of your

corpse something else exists

yeah so Like I don't know. I just think if we read between the lines they are telling us then if you look at what like the CIA is declassifying in their files. They're literally

You're so speaking my language.

They're literally telling us they declassify these files about they were doing all these mind experiments where people could use telekinesis to move

28:00

things if you use these like number combinations and they wait.

Have you read about the gateway tapes?

Yes.

Yeah. What do you Okay. So what do you suspect? Did they admit what they were doing with them or is it just a theory?

So they were so the gateway tapes the there's a place called the Monroe Institute which still exists and you can go take classes at the Monroe Institute and they started playing around with binaural beats and seeing how frequencies would impact the brain and the ability to like kind of go into the subconscious astral plane. And then the CIA came in and was like, "Hey, we want to start doing classified tests on this to see if we can use it for military operations." I've done some of the gateway tapes.

I have fully left my body. I had an experience where I witnessed something that happened to a girl and it was so weird. I like kept seeing these images of her life where she was. And keep in mind, I've never been to her apartment. I've talked about this on the podcast. It's Whitney Way Thor from My Big Fat Fabulous Life. I'm friendly with her.

29:00

Um, we were on like a season of her show. I hadn't really talked to her in a while, but as I was doing one of these gateway tapes, my brain just kept going to her, seeing images of her in this like apartment space, and I kept getting this like message that someone was watching her. And I like overheard her calling someone being like, I just found this. I think someone's stalking me. And it was so I kept going back to it in this like gateway tape experience that I was like, I need to text her after this. But knowing that that's kind of a weird thing out of context, I just text her and I was like, "Hey, how are you?" And then she was like, "Oh my gosh, so weird." I was just like, she said something about like she just had a dream about me or something. And I go, "Okay, I need to tell you. I just had a dream about you." And I told her the whole situation. She calls me and goes, "Last night I got home from the dog park and I got an alert on my phone saying like an Apple item has been following you since this long." You know when like

30:00

someone's like AirPods are in your ear or whatever.

She finds an Air Tag in her bag.

Someone's trying

someone at the dog park slipped an Air Tag in her bag. Then she called a friend and was like, "I think someone's watching me." I literally in this like gateway tape astral projection saw that whole conversation and experience. Had no idea and knowledge of it. That's crazy. And I'm like, for sure, time is folding in on itself or I'm picking up on her energy and she's thinking about this in this exact moment. I don't know how to explain it. Well, that's what they're all doing. The government, they know just like they know about the aliens, but um they were doing similar types of things with LSD back in the 60s, like all the MK Ultra testing where they were giving people LSD without telling them.

Yep.

And monitoring's uncle, I think, was like a or grandpa was a part of it. Cool. And I think he like had to sign an NDA and stuff, so I don't know all the details, but

I love that. Well, it's very fascinating.

Yeah. Which also makes me wonder what other things they're testing similar to the alien, like what they know. What do

31:00

they know that we don't know that will become declassified in 20 years from now? They won't declassify the things they don't want us to know. And I truly believe they've like trained their operatives, like the really important ones, with this type of ability like what you're describing where you're literally like, how do you think they intercept certain terrorist acts? Like I truly think I know a lot of it is technology, a lot of it is intel from other countries. Like I I understand there's real

defense happening,

but I also think like if they have this ability that they've been studying this stuff since the 60s,

why would they have entertained this? Okay, there was a story, I think I saw this on TikTok a couple years ago, but there's this woman who is really good at astral projecting. And so she decided she was going to astral project to Area 51 cuz she was like, I want to see what they're doing at Area 51.

Apparently, as she got to that area, there are astral bodyguards set up there. What does that mean? Like the same way she can astral project, there are people trained by the government who

32:00

can astral project, who are protecting that area.

Wow, that is so cool. I forgot about that. And this is I love these conversations.

That is really

Isn't that wild? So cool. Yeah,

this is why numerology is so important.

I also love numerology.

I just it's all connected. Like I truly believe it's all connected because like

Have you seen the CIA declassified things about the mind control experiments

about some of them?

I'll send it to you. I literally have it on my desktop. These codes that they're using where literally it's like you just close your eyes and you say these numbers in a certain order.

So the gateway tapes does that. Yeah.

But like that's why I believe numerology is actually a thing. It's why like

numbers are so powerful.

Well, it's why they like they're not necessarily insignificant. Like you're channeling certain things with certain efforts.

That's also how I feel about astrology and that's also very tied to numerology.

Well, astrology has real weight because there are magnetic forces. These things control the tides.

This is literally my favorite type of conversation.

I know. Like of course, like how could Okay, if astronomy and astrology and

33:00

like if the space isn't affecting us, how could it control the time?

Exactly.

We know. We've heard it all here.

You've heard it all here.

Yep.

I am on a protein journey. And I just found the most incredible protein. It's called Kachava. And their new flavor, cinnamon French toast. Oh my gosh, it gives you all the nostalgic feels of childhood. It's like drinking that sweet cinnamony sugar milk that was at the bottom of your cereal. Oh, it's so good. Just two scoops provide complete nutrition your body craves with protein,

Ka’Chava

fiber, greens, and so much more. And Kachaba provides clean nutrition to There's no fillers, no nonsense, no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. It's non GMO. There's no soy, no animal products, no gluten, and no preservatives, which is such a win in my book. And as a vegetarian, I'm constantly looking for the healthiest ways to get my protein intake. And Kachava has just made it so much easier. They also have so many different flavors

34:00

you can choose from. Treat yourself to a childhood favorite. Go to kachava.com and use code TG for 15% off your first order. That's kachava spelled k a c h a v a.com code T O G. Okay, I do have a Reddit story. This is kind of going back to I was inspired by you being a terrifying creepy child and screaming under your parents' bed.

So, I found a creepy kid story. It was posted 5 years ago on the paranormal subreddit and it is called my horrifying childhood experience. So, this is probably going to be a long one, but let me explain. It all started when I was around 2 years of age. I had always seen

reddit story: creepy kid

things and been told by my parents that I used to interact with things that they couldn't see. So a few examples are I would interact with family members who had passed away or animals, but specifically I would interact with a little girl who went on to terrorize both me and my family. So I'm going to

35:00

talk specifically about my experience with this little girl. As early as I remember, this girl used to push me, let off putrid smells, would upset my baby sister, and even follow me to school. I could see her as if she was physically there, as if you were to talk to another human being. and interact. I remember exactly what she looked like. She wore a long blue cotton jacket with black buttons. She had patented black shoes, brunette hair pushed up and platted with a blue ribbon used as a bow. She had buck teeth, black glasses, and was covered in freckles. I used to refer to her all the time as the poor little girl because she used to tell me how she was abused by her father and suffered a broken arm twice on the same arm and a battered face. She said her mother let it happen. She never had any friends or any close family and her name was Elizabeth. When I heard her story, I kept telling my family that it was the poor little girl cuz it's so sad. Smells though. Is that a thing? So, we'll get

36:00

to that [laughter] and a lot of the comments conspire about it or theorize about it. So, Elizabeth, this little girl, used to tell me that she was part of my family, which at the time I believed. I was young and I didn't quite understand the difference between spirit world and reality. I should point out that around the same time, I was actively communicating with my late granddad, who had also previously passed. I knew him in life and in the afterlife and I think maybe interacting with him may have accidentally opened a portal to the other world by letting him in which is when the little girl was invited in. I was told by my family that I complained of a fire in the walls in my bedroom. So this is all context. So this is where it gets very interesting. My experiences with the little girl I will list below. There are far too many to speak about in depth but I will answer questions about any of these experiences. So, there are six experiences listed. One, I was pushed off of my toddler bike by this little girl. It caused me to break my arm. My mom physically witnessed this.

37:00

And then 12 weeks later, I had my cast removed. And that same day, the cast was removed. I was back on that bike and pushed off again by this little girl, breaking that same arm.

Wow.

Weird, right? And keep in mind, remember the little girl told her she broke her same arm twice.

Yeah. Two, I was pushed off my seessaw by this little girl, which caused severe trauma to my face. My mom had never seen anything so horrifying. Three, this little girl used to terrorize my sisters. One example of this is that my baby sister at the time was sitting on the floor having a tantrum like kids do. When out of nowhere, a square table mat flew off the table, landed next to my sister. This was the work of the little girl. Two days after the previously mentioned incident, this little girl interrupted my older sister, who was listening to music, by violently throwing two CDs at the wall near her, making her flee in terror. Five. When me and my sister were younger, I was three, she was one, my mother was bathing us simultaneously. When, while we're in the

38:00

bath, all the taps on the sink turned on by themselves, and we saw them physically being turned. Six. I woke up at 5:00 a.m. one morning and my dad came downstairs with me as he was getting ready for work. On the way downstairs, approaching the living room door, my dad stopped in absolute terror because he claimed he heard a large group of children giggling running around in the living room. The creepiest thing about this incident is as it happened and he paused and was freaked out, I said, "It's okay, Daddy. It's just my friends playing." I don't remember saying this, but I scared my dad. And apparently when he entered the living room, there was no one, not a soul, completely empty. And we had no pets at the time. And even if we did, they don't sound like little kids playing.

No.

So these are a few of mine and my family's experiences with this little girl. But the story doesn't end there. Fast forward about 5 to 6 years after all the events at this house, we moved to another house where unfortunately this little girl followed me. But as I was older and less frightened of her, she seemed to fade. But her presence was

39:00

still felt amongst my family. It was around this time we got a psychic involved to take a look at our new property, which there's a lot to explain, but let me give you a too long don't read regarding the psychic's findings. So, this psychic knew nothing about me. She came to this house and said that there was a little girl terrorizing me and my family from a very young age. She described the appearance of this little girl perfectly, as I previously mentioned, the exact same way I had been seeing her. She confirmed her name was in fact Elizabeth and that Elizabeth had abusive parents. The scariest thing is I didn't tell her about any of this. She told me that the arm and face injuries I suffered were at the hands of this little girl, that they were the same injuries that she suffered in life. This psychic did some things with sage and muttering. And ultimately, according to the psychic, it led to the little girl passing over. I never saw her again after that. I'm now 21, living a great life. But now and again, this still pops into my head and haunts me to this day. I will never ever not believe

40:00

someone's paranormal experience. Any questions, I'd be happy to answer. So, that's the original post. Wow. And a lot of people were commenting saying like it seemed unusually powerful for the spirit of a little girl. And a lot of people were like, I don't think it's a little girl. I think it's a demonic entity. Especially pointing to the putrid smell. Mhm.

But I think given that she did pass over so easily, it was just a little girl who

mad

who was mad and sad

had such a horrible life

maybe wanted someone to understand her.

Well, when you're little, you don't have you have big feelings. It's why kids scream. They don't have the words, so they act out.

I also feel like I remember like the bullies that I knew in middle school or like elementary school were often repeating patterns that they saw at home. And I think that's common where it's like if they're being pushed around at home, they're going to push people around at school because that's what they know. How soon like after, this is not going to be a question you can answer, but like after death apparently,

41:00

like based on most of the stories you've read or been told, do spirits, entities show up? Because like I'm sure you've seen the footage from the Chris Watts case. Yes, we Karin did a whole episode about because like

I believe that like

especially with such a traumatic ending to their lives and it's just like it was ours.

Yeah.

You know, and I'm like

is that what did she conclude when she looked into it?

I mean, we we watched some of the police cam footage.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. The commercial that comes on. That's wild. Oh, it gives me chills.

I know. It's unbelievable. It's hard because I don't know and I want to believe I mean this is a hard thing is like there's so unfortunately there's so much murder in this world and there are so many unsolved cases and I think this is why some people are like I don't believe in the paranormal because if ghosts were real why wouldn't all spirits of people who have been murdered come back immediately and like tell everyone what happened

but I don't know that there are necessarily I don't think it's that easy

42:00

or well I think it's tied to energy and yeah like a feeling like a lack of peace or rage or you know like justice or you know like using the Chris Watts thing as an example like

I think that was I watched Did you watch a documentary that was like all Shenan's social media?

Yeah.

I think she was like angry.

Yeah. you know,

she had every right to be

well, but like we all we would all if the murder, but I think with the children

Yeah.

and the and like she would have been murdered first and

you know if she was a spirit after that like had seen him murder his

the children bring them with her dead body to the oil.

God is so but just like it's unthinkable and it's like

you know I think maybe the children being involved like tipped that for the for the entity or whatever. I also think and I'm wondering this is I don't know for a fact but I'm curious like the same way that children are more open to

43:00

seeing and having paranormal experiences like is childlike energy more likely to become active spirits like I I don't know right and then it begs the question where like what kind of awareness do children get like when they become entities like do they get wisdom they didn't have when like is the is like the development of their brain

actually holding their consciousness back from like knowing everything. Then once the physical aspects of their notfore brain disappears, then they know everything,

right?

Yeah. We don't know what happens once you enter the afterlife. Like do you get Yeah.

Do you get the wisdom from all your past lives? Like I don't know.

I don't know. What would you do if you saw a little ghost girl

who was angry?

I'd probably be really worried. I mean, cuz I've never seen an entity like in a human form. Like I've only

Cuz this is such an active spirit, too. Yeah, like it's communicating. It is physically pushing. Cuz I think that's the one thing with the paranormal that most people, myself included, I feel

44:00

safer when it comes to ghosts than I do with real humans because I feel like humans can cause harm. But this is a story where a spirit is causing a Reddit poster to break their arm twice and then have like severe trauma to their face. But there might be more to her than just being a ghost. Like there could have been a demonic thing there, you know? Like

there could have been I don't know when children are harmed I think something that's why it is like this next level of evil that like it's like you're dancing with the devil if you hurt children and like who knows what seeps in.

That's true. That is a good point. That's why I do feel like a lot of demonic cases happen around traumatic

events. Like something really dark is happening. Like if I were a demon I'd be like this is the perfect place for me to show up. Oh yeah. And they show up when it's like sacrilege like a a father hurting a child or a father murder like a family annihilator right like where I mean I'm not a religious person

but like I feel like so much of religion started like in ancient times based on

45:00

these paranormal things that people needed explanations for. So I think there is something there like when a huge amount of fear or pain or something like that's fuel for it.

Perfect place for anyone to be like entering the chat.

Yep.

Yeah. I thought it'd be fun to also tease like or just like share a couple of our favorite stories just in general like that we've covered on Crimes of Reddit to to entice all of you who are listening to go listen to Crimes of Reddit. I love that. What's your favorite story we've covered?

Um, honestly, the story that we were told that we got from our subreddit.

reddit favorites

Yeah.

I mean, you were even like, "Oh my god, you're speechless." And I was I was

I've never seen you speechless. Yeah.

Well, I'm like, I'm gonna go Google this guy. I need to know more.

Yeah, you can read the whole appeal page.

Because basically what happened is that this professor of pharmarmacology became obsessed with his student who was a nurse and broke into her house and tried to murder her in this really

46:00

elaborate

and he claimed it was because like he was like surprising her with a kinky knight, but they were not in a romantic relationship at all.

Thank god that didn't work because like that [ __ ] does work. That worked with one of Jeffrey Dmer's victims

where he was like, "Oh, he's just my lover. He's disoriented because he was like had given this guy drugs and was like hurting him."

I know. It's so [ __ ] up. This is why I think humans are so much scarier than any paranormal thing we can encounter.

Yeah.

Yeah, that one was really messed up. I think uh it's hard to pick the slug one. It's in episode three. We read a story where a girl found out that her partner had been grinding up slugs and putting them in her food. And then also in that same story, the victim of this had a pet like a giant African snail and he admitted when confronted the person doing this to the poster that like, "Oh, I found your giant." She thought the snail escaped, which I thought was

47:00

interesting. But um he admitted that he found the snail dead and also put that in her food. And then when he ultimately like admitted it, he's like, "Well, I was just started conducting experiments on you." He used to like he like started with spitting in her food and then it progressed up to medication.

Evil. So what do you think? Are humans scarier or are ghosts scarier? I think we can all agree humans. Yeah. If you want more stories like that, go check out Crimes of Reddit, which I do every week. New episodes come out on Tuesdays with Alexis, my delightful new friend. I love you.
