I blinked again and suddenly we were right back where we were on the cliff. But now it was dawn and the sun was coming up. Hours passed. [sighs]

Yeah.

Very spooky.

Hello. Beam me up.

She's only been asking for her whole life.

I'm begging you. She's literally wearing a shirt for you, aliens.

I literally put it on my Hinge profile. Wait, what's the prompt? Let me look at it. Can you bring us through your whole profile? Actually, [laughter] I would like to see it.

I could take you through it. Well, I'll show you and then we'll just do the one prompt that I did. But I did. Okay. Most irrational fear.

Quicksand or anything from Final Destination. It's great. Hey, I made it.

1:00

There's a picture of me.

Yeah. Last time I cried happy tears was when my three-year-old niece asked me to stay at her house forever.

A Yeah.

Oh, never have I ever been abducted by aliens and I'm sad about it.

Yeah, that's perfect. And I like how it's [laughter] like there's a very beautiful but also spooky photo of you right above it holding a

Most of my photos are spooky.

Spooky and beautiful.

But yeah, that's how much I

Hello.

Did that just make a noise? Oh, I think it accidentally went to Tik Tok. Oh, which is also weird.

Weird.

Anyway, but yeah,

this is two girls, one ghost.

Two girls, one ghost. Can you guess what our topic is today? Aliens,

aliens, UFOs, abductions.

alien abduction with nails

Last episode, last encounters when we did glitches and interdimensional like time slips and stuff,

there was a story that I brought up that we had read on the podcast years ago about an alien abduction where they like woke up in the midst of nails.

Okay. Yes. And I didn't remember it, but

2:00

you were like, "Oh,

I found it."

Or you going to reread it?

So, I'm going to start this episode.

Great. So, we first read it on Encounters 140 back in 2022. It's from our listener, Maddie, and it's called An Alien Abducted My Mom. Hi, little lads. My name is Maddie. I love that. [clears throat] Before my mom met my dad and had me, she was married and had my two sisters. When my mom was recently divorced after that marriage, she moved from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Brooklyn, Missouri, which is a small town with a lake. She bought a small house on that lake and said it was wonderful. She loved living there. Other than the fact that the town was a little odd.

She said that along with the beautiful scenes, there was a lot of dark energy and a lot of weird people doing some weird stuff like rituals and weird sex stuff and culty [ __ ]

Oh, okay. That is not what I thought when you she meant weird.

Very weird. My mom didn't move to the house alone. She brought my sister who at the time was probably around 16 and my other sister had moved out. So, it

3:00

was just the two of them, my mom and my 16-year-old sister. My sister, like me, sleepwalks and has weird sleeping habits, like, oh, I don't know, waking up with dirt in her bed from leaving the house while sleepwalking.

Yeah. No.

Amongst other things. So, my mom has literally had to booby trap the front door to prevent her from leaving.

Jeez.

As all of this is going on, my mom started renovating the upstairs to turn it into a bedroom. So she had flipped all the floors nails facing up so that the next day she could start replacing them and her and my sister got ready for bed. So like all the floorboards were like ripped up, nails facing upwards. My sister had a room across from my mom and their doors were open. So if my sister did start to sleepwalk, my mom would hopefully catch her in the act. Once my sister started to fall asleep, she felt weird, but she couldn't put a finger on it. So she went to bed. And then she woke up at 2:45 a.m. because she was freezing. She rolled over and realized she was not in her bed. She was at the very end of the room upstairs with all

4:00

of those wood boards tipped up. She looked up to see three figures talking to her, but she couldn't understand what they were saying.

How do I not remember this? Wild.

They disappeared. Now, my sister is a very Houdini sleepwalker, but there was no possible way for her to have navigated across those boards with nails sleep nails sticking up while sleeping.

Yeah. And also, she's waking up and seeing three figures

talking like someone other people are there, not even just someone.

The next morning, my sister went downstairs and told my mom all about the situation. And my mom felt really weird because my mom had slept through the whole night, not once hearing my sister leave her room or go up the creaky old stairs. So, she called her best friend, who's very connected to the spiritual world and sees and understands things that most people don't. And her friend asked my mom to check her wrist to see if there were any markings on it. My mom pulled up her wrist and there was a red mark all the way around her wrist. My mom's friend explained that it might have been an alien abduction that sometimes aliens will distract and play

5:00

with the children so they can steal their parents.

Wait, what?

What in the Jimmy Neutron? But yeah.

Wa. This is like a bait and switch. I thought this was getting abducted. Maybe they both were.

Maybe they both were. Yeah,

but they literally put related family members.

They put Maddie upstairs in the wrong room.

Playing nails.

Yeah,

that doesn't feel like the right distraction.

Isn't that wild?

I don't like that Maddie wakes up with dirt on her.

Well, it's Maddiey's sister

or Matty's sister.

Maddie does sleepwalk, but we don't know about those stories.

That's true.

She hasn't shared them yet.

I feel like we've heard that before a few times of people like waking up or just like keep trying to go back to the woods or something. It's like, what is about to talk to you?

It's a very Stephen King pet cemetery.

Very creepy.

So creepy. I know. I was like I knew so many of the details, but I forgot it and I was so glad to find it.

I know. I'm actually shocked that you did.

Yeah,

normally we say stuff and then we can't find it.

I spent hours.

No, I spent like 20 minutes. It came to

6:00

me. Fall is upon us and that means fall

alien abduction?

Okay. Well, I have a story called Alien Abduction. So, I guess maybe we have to vote at the end if we think it is one.

I feel like most of the time when we get questions like that, it's usually a probably most likely. So,

if you're asking, it's like you already know.

Yeah.

Hello, spooky ladies. My name is Anisha. Feel free to use my name. I've been a listener since 2019, and somehow I have procrastinated saying this the entire time. And this was sent in April of this year. So,

well, we're glad you finally sent it.

Didn't take a beat.

Maybe this is when we were meant to read it. So, if had you sent it earlier, it wouldn't universe the same

or the right other person listening like wouldn't have heard this for someone else.

It's fate. It's destiny.

Okay. Well, now I feel like is the time because I went back and I started listening to older episodes and for some reason every time I started an episode, it would begin at the end with Sabrina

8:00

saying to send in your stories. Weird that timing too,

right?

Cuz it's not the exact same time code every episode.

No, no, no. I sometimes talk for like another five minutes after.

Yeah.

Interesting.

Spooky. That is a sign.

I took this as a sign to finally write it out. At the time of the story, I was in a really bad relationship. Unfortunately, I was groomed at 16 and I ended up living with a 26-year-old man and he was just so terrible to me.

I'm sorry.

I'd been working three jobs trying to pay for an apartment in Minneapolis while he was unemployed. And during this time, my grandfather offered me a bartending job at a restaurant that he managed in Deadwood, South Dakota. There is a biker rally there. It happens every year and a lot of people come through. I thought this would be a great opportunity to save up some money.

At this time, I just turned 19 and I was in this stupid relationship for 3 years. I'm now 29 and I see how messed up the whole situation was. But back then when I landed in South Dakota, this posos piece of [ __ ] texted me and said that he

9:00

was moving and throwing away all of my stuff.

I have one message for this POS.

Yeah, just I hope aliens never take you or if they do

that is they're probing your butthole kind

and they drop you off a little bit too high over the ocean.

Plunk splat. Sorry. Did we just put wish death upon a predator?

We put a lot of intention there.

Yeah. Okay. He told me that now I have no home to come back to. Our relationship was over. And honestly, this was the biggest blessing ever. At the time, I was distraught though because I only had one carry-on of my belongings left to my name.

I guess now that I was 19, I was too old for him. Ick. [snorts]

That's so sickening.

I decided to try and start a new life here and be a normal teenager for the first time. When I began working for my grandpa, I met a girl. We're going to call her T. And she was incredible. We became best friends and we soon spent every single day together. We went on ghost tours because Deadwood is insanely haunted.

We went to college parties. Deadwood.

10:00

Deadwood.

And I'll send in some ghost stories too about that. But for now, let's stay on track. This is about aliens.

Yes.

I had never felt so free in my life. I made a ton of friends. Very close friends. grew closer in my relationship with my grandfather and began to learn who I was.

Good.

One night, T and I were hanging out and we decided to go up to a place called Game Farm and some friends came along with us. And for context, Game Farm is a cliff in the middle of the Black Hills forest. Everything sounds so creepy here.

It feels like a like Grim's Fairy Tale town.

Does Yeah. This is like Riverdale.

Yes.

Eesque.

I'm going to look it up. Deadwood.

Yeah. There is a TV show called Deadwood. Oh, well, Deadwood, South Dakota is the state. So, we decided to go up this night to watch a meteor shower that was happening. We had a case of Corona. We were smoking some weed. Normal teenage shenanigans. It was tea, myself, and a girl named Whezzy Kate or

11:00

sorry, Weezy Katie.

Literally a TV show.

And this town looks like a TV show, too.

Does it? And let me see.

Yeah, it's very picturesque set.

So pretty. So cute.

Very cool. But yeah, that is absolutely like a sound stage.

Mhm.

Wow. Okay, so T, myself, a girl named Wizzy Katie, and two other friends that we'll call K and S. We were all sitting on the edge of the cliff watching the stars, and the car was running, lights off, music on for ambiance. It was Alina Barz, and it made the shooting stars seem even more magical.

While we were watching the meteor shower, we noticed one meteor started moving in a strange way. And being young and not the most intelligent, my dumbass said, "No way. That one must be getting pulled by the moon's orbit." How embarrassing. Anyway, the meteor starts zigzagging back and forth. And we didn't want to miss this cool moment, so we went and got our phones out and we started recording the said meteor, quote unquote. And that is when [ __ ] hit the

12:00

fan.

Oh no.

The second my phone camera was open, all of our phones shut off. We were then off the cliff in a matter of seconds. I remember looking around and seeing T, S, and K on my right. Weezy Katie was on my left. And only Katie's eyes were open. She started staring at me and her mouth was wide open like she was screaming and she had tears coming out of the corner of her eyes.

Oh my god.

And they were moving back almost like we were getting blown by wind and we were all suspended and it was like we were in this white milky like substance. It seemed like liquid, but my hair was floating around my head. It was like I jumped in a pool. It was so weird. And I could see Katie's tears. So I screamed, but I didn't make a sound.

What the heck?

They're suspended in like time and space.

Yeah, this is like this goes from 0 to 100 so fast. The only thing I could hear was the consistent low hum like this sort of white noise around us. I blinked again and suddenly we were right back where we were on the cliff.

13:00

But now it was dawn and the sun was coming up.

Hours passed. [sighs] Everyone was freaked out, but Weezy Katie, she was petrified. We loaded into the car. We started driving out of the woods. We got to a dirt road that led to the highway. And when we turned onto it, we saw something extremely unsettling. On both sides of the road, facing the road were animals. What?

Cows, deer, rabbits, dogs, birds, all in straight lines, completely still, just on both sides of the road. They lined the road all the way up to the highways. And honestly, I don't remember much after that. I think I was in shock, but I do remember that Weezy Katie just kind of disappeared on us after this. We went to her house. She would never answer the door. She wouldn't answer our texts or our phone calls or anything after that. Next thing I heard, she did move to Wyoming. And I am still close with the friends TS and K. And in fact, TS and I ended up moving to Arizona together a few months after this. And yeah, life just kind of moved

14:00

on. But no idea what happened.

What the heck?

Love you girls. Keep being spooky baddies. See you on the other side. Anisha,

do they all remember the same like frozen in suspension moment?

I think so. But like I understand why Weezy Katie

for sure.

Like it sounds like Anisha and Weezy Katie should be the ones most traumatized because they both had their eyes open witnessing what was going on and like trying to scream. The other is it l it kind of sounded like they were like

to see Katie's tears

Yeah. suspended in the air

and her mouth open as if she's trying to scream.

And then Anisha herself then tries to scream and nothing comes out.

That is crazy. And the animals were the animals or were those the aliens watching them go watching them

all lined up. It's so creepy on both sides just like completely still.

The red carpet for for our latest victims

and hours pass by. Hours. See, this gives me proof that maybe I made the right call when I saw that UFO. Yeah. And you're like, "Do not film."

And like no one was curious about filming or like really serious about

15:00

filming except for my roommate Taylor who works in the film industry and writes for television. And she was like, "Let me go get my camera." And I was like, "You are [ __ ] not getting that camera. We are being quiet and standing still."

So wild. This is a very unsettling experience. And like there's hours of missing memory and time. They don't know what actually happened

and like a a second and then they're all suspended like ripped off of the cliff

and then they're in some like milky substance

abducted for sure

and then you moved to Arizona where all of the aliens are.

They're keeping track of you.

Oh my god. Was that your idea? Like who was I that was implanted into your brain

idea? They're like, "We just need easier access to you. Can you just move closer to us, please?"

So much easier for your

travel fees are so expensive these days.

South Dakota is like really out of the way. [laughter]

Damn.

Wow. Okay, I have one from our listener

alien experiences after using the gateway tapes

Liz about aliens and alien experiences after using the Gateway tapes.

Oh. Oh,

I feel like a few people have recently

16:00

asked if you've finished the Gateway tapes yet.

No, I'm moving at snail pace, y'all. Okay, Liz writes, "I'm a new listener and I'm on episode 324, so I'm going from new to old. And I wanted to share an experience I had a long time ago. It was post high school, so late '9s for me. And it wasn't necessarily the exact same tapes that you're talking about with the Gateway tapes, but similar enough that it made me remember this. I've always been sensitive and attracted others that were like me.

I couldn't tell you what Claire I am, but I can see things and spirits in my mind's eye.

You're just Claire.

That's you. You're

changing your name, Claire. I can hear thoughts that aren't mine, and I can maybe astral project. So, I attracted like an electric magnet. this guy that I will call Jack, short for jackass. And he was the same as me, but with more developed spiritual skills. He was also sexy AF. An army ranger, tall, blonde, and fit. Totally my type. And he came into my work with a friend of his because his friend wanted to buy a

17:00

computer from the store I worked at. Well, after much flirting and selling his friend a very high-end computer because I was on commission, I gave this guy my number. Later, we went on a couple of double dates with my friend and his friend that bought the computer. And eventually, it came out that we both had this spiritual side in common. And he told me about a book called Beyond Hypnosis. So, in this book, you record your own voice reading specific passages. And then when you're in a meditative state, you listen back to your own voice saying these passages.

Oh, interesting.

It is similar in sense to Monroe tapes. I don't remember much else about this book because after this incident I'm about to tell you, I stopped. I still don't know if it was real or not, but it jolted me enough and after listening to so many podcasts like yours, including yours, with other accounts of people experiencing strange things, I have a feeling it was real.

So, here's what I experienced. My friend that had been dating, this guy's friend, and I were together in the downstairs wreck room of my parents house. I still lived at home at this time, but my parents were not home. I used my cutie

18:00

little micro tape recorder thing to record the words, and then my friend and I settled in to listen. Next thing I know, I was literally somewhere else. Far away, but it felt close to Earth.

Maybe [clears throat] because I could still feel my physical body somewhere around me. I was in a shopping center of some sort, like a mall. And I saw a family of aliens, but obviously they weren't aliens because they were in their home world, and I was technically the alien, but you get what I'm saying. To me, they seemed like aliens. These three alien beings were shopping. There were three of them and it felt like a mom, a dad, and maybe like a six to sevenyear-old if I'm using human height to guess. They had a light greenish hue to their skin and their fingers were similar to ours but more rounded. Think like a suction cup like octopus.

Yeah.

Tops.

It's so different.

Almost [clears throat] like the little alien dudes from Toy Story.

It was a shop with trinkets and the little boy went to reach for something on the shelf when he saw me and we made eye contact. The parents couldn't see

19:00

me, but I'm thinking the same as here, how some people believe that children can see ghosts, and maybe the young ones in other realms or planets can as well. This little kid and I both gasp immediately when we lock eyes. His hand opened, but I don't think he ever fully picked up the trinket, so it didn't drop and break, but I could tell he was shocked. I was also shocked. And then all of a sudden, I was back in my own body, gasping for breath, which then woke up my friend. I don't think she experienced anything during her meditation, but this was something I could not get out of my head than making eye contact with him. There were other experiences I had with Jack, but eventually we broke up. He comes to me in dreams, and I think he might have died because of this, and some of these dreams are pretty sexy. So, I don't know, maybe I was just lonely at the time, and I missed him, but these dreams were very, very vivid. Anyway, that's my experience. Thanks for all you do and thanks for entertaining me, Liz.

It is so interesting because I feel like the Monroe tape or like the like any of these sort of like hypnosis or

20:00

meditative tapes and stuff where like you're supposed to transcend and go somewhere else. Like

it does kind of connect to alien abductions where like the one of the theories is that it's your astral self most of the time that's getting abducted. Yeah,

but it is so interesting to me that there's like a version of instructions where you're supposed to instruct yourself. And I'm curious if that's like what the intent is. Is it because it's like less distracting?

Well, cuz it's also like once you're in a meditative state, your recorded voice is supposed to be playing. So, what do you do to get into the meditative state? So, there's a picture. It's called Lie Wellins or Lizwellins self-improvement series beyond hypnosis a program for developing your psychic and healing powers by William W. hear it.

Or maybe it's like because it's hard to kind of get into that meditative state that if you hear your own voice, it interrupt like it stops.

Your internal voice anyway.

Your own

Yeah. I don't know.

Thoughts can't take over.

21:00

We might have to read that book. Although based on that, I don't know that I would want to. [laughter]

I know there's a lot.

I feel like gateway I like better. I feel safe

with your little

even though I shouldn't cuz someone was like

general beats.

Yeah. Someone was like, "What if someone else programmed these and you're not listening to the right ones?" I know that that's a spooky fear. I'm going to try hypno breathing this time.

Oh, what's that?

Which sounds like this big intense thing. And then I was like, "Oh [ __ ] I need to start practicing."

It's just brea It's like a almost like a yoga breathing technique. But I think I'm going to put in the headphones and like have someone

have someone on the internet walk me through it.

I support that.

Yeah, maybe I'll do the gateway tapes during labor just to fully leave my body.

Leave my body.

I'm not even here. [laughter] It's like giving birth back in the 50s.

Who was there? Not me. Not me.

NOCD

You've heard Ken talk about her experience with OCD. It is all-encompassing. It has caused a lot of intrusive thoughts for her, especially when she was a new mom with Noah. And I feel like there's just so many misconceptions about OCD. It's not just anxiety. It's not just the organizing stereotype. Real OCD is persistent,

22:00

unwanted, intrusive thoughts that totally feel out of character along with mental or physical behaviors you feel driven to do to get relief, even if that relief never actually comes. And these thoughts can feel so real, which is what makes them so upsetting. But OCD is highly treatable with the right kind of specialized help, which is why we love No CD. NOCD is the world's leading provider of OCD treatment covered by insurance for over 138 million Americans. They've licensed therapists that specialize in ERP therapy in live face-to-face virtual sessions, and they have support between sessions, so you're never facing OCD alone.

date night UFO story

Okay. I have a date night UFO story.

That's my dream date night. [laughter]

That's why your Hinge profile is set up the way that it is.

No. One guy was like, "For first date,

23:00

do you want to get abducted by aliens?" And I said, "If you actually have that possibility, that will be the best date of my life."

He is the alien. I would also accept that.

What was that like 80s or 90s movie like my babysitter's a vampire or something like that?

Mom's got a date with a vampire.

Mom's got a date with a vampire.

I'm sure there was also the babysitter vampire.

There's like a million things like that, but it reminds me of a title like that. Like my date with an alien.

Okay. Hi ladies. My name [laughter] hopefully in 2026. My name is Maddie. Feel free to use my name. I have a short and sweet story about the time that my boyfriend and I saw a UFO while we were out on a date night.

Oo. It was during the summer of either 2020 or 2021. We lived in Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. And at the time, we heard that there was supposed to be a very visible meteor shower that night.

Very similar to your

I didn't mean to pick a bunch of meteor stuff, but here we are.

Maybe it's because at the time of this recording, that meteor struck off the coast of Massachusetts and like

But I picked these like a few weeks

24:00

before the meteor.

You predicted it.

I predicted actually. Have you seen Okay, so I know I've brought up Noon's new album 17 times since it came out,

but one of his songs he says he hopes a tornado hits Logan airport.

Yeah.

And people are like, "Oh my god, look at what he did. It's It wasn't a tornado, but it was damn close. A meteor almost hit Logan."

I'm like, that's actually really funny like to think of people manifesting things through their songs. I think people are singing a lyric that

that it happens.

Something happens. I mean, isn't that manifestation

or brainwashing?

Ooh, a little bit of both. We like it.

Yeah. Which also, sorry, not even a side tangent because I'm not going to talk much about it, but if no one has listened to the podcast Wind of Change, it came out years ago and I recommended it

and it is so good.

Is that about the music?

Yes. It's about like a a particular song in the theory that it was propaganda to dismantle the Soviet Union.

Oh.

And it it's just a really good like kind of investigative. I've still never listened to it. So,

25:00

cuz I really liked it. So, if you don't, then clearly we don't have the same taste. [laughter]

And we're fighting.

And we're fighting anyway. All right. So, Maddie and her boyfriend are in British Columbia. There's supposed to be a media shower this evening.

Of course,

we decided to make so romantic. We decided to make a date night out of it. So, we loaded up my boyfriend's old 86 Toyota with blankets, a bottle of Cabernet Sven, and some popcorn. We drove out to a very remote location where there would be no light pollution so that we could see almost the entire night sky unobstructed for a couple of hours. We laid in the bed of the truck just staring up at the stars. We pointed out constellations. We noted particularly bright stars that we figured were planets. We counted all the satellites that passed by. And we watched fiery meteors streaking across the sky every few minutes. It was incredible. I happened to be looking up at three very bright stars above us that formed a perfect triangle when all of the sudden they slowly started to move. There isn't a triangle for me.

26:00

I know it's like always three. All three of them stationary for hours slowly started moving in perfect unison across the starry sky. I pointed up at them and I said, "Um, I don't think stars move like that."

And my boyfriend agreed. He was speechless. We both watched as these three bright lights slid silently across the night sky. Then as they passed in front of other stars, they blocked the other stars out,

revealing a triangular shape that was actually a solid structure.

The fact that it was so dark that you couldn't see it before.

It's actually just

the perimeter lights of a craft.

Damn.

Eventually, it faded out of you as if getting higher and further away. And that was it. For years afterwards, my boyfriend would tell people it was just the Starlink satellites.

That's not Starlink.

They're not in a triangle shape. They're in like a line. It's a worm of lights.

One day, I pulled up a video of what those satellites look like. To which he responded, "Shit, yep, it was not like

27:00

that at all." To this day, we have no explanation other than it must have just been some kind of UFO.

Yeah,

we must have stared up at that triangle for a couple hours before it even started to move. And it makes me wonder if there was something up there. if maybe they were staring back down at us. Thanks for reading, Maddie.

Well, good thing you didn't take your phones out like Anisha did because

Well, okay. What if they used meteor showers as their distraction? That's how they get to come in and do all of their abducting

there. Oh, interesting.

Maybe that's what happened when the meteor crashed off of the coast of Massachusetts.

UFO craft.

Yeah.

Or they're just like dropping meteors. They like bring their own rock, [snorts]

drop it by.

Yeah.

Damn.

Very weird.

But what a romantic date. Love that for you.

It does sound really lovely and it's like awesome to see staring at it.

A UFO from a safe distance away.

I agree. Although I would like safe distance being I could touch it.

I wish I could swap places with you

28:00

because I feel like I actually have multiple UFO stories and

it's cuz you don't want it as much. [laughter] because I really don't and I've seen too many and one being way too close.

I mean, I feel like every time we do an alien episode, I clarify this, but I want an alien experience. Like, we've read stories where someone was like medically ill. Doctors couldn't figure it out, couldn't do anything. They were like, "This might be the end."

Yeah.

And then that night they have an experience where like an alien type of entity comes through the window and miraculously the next morning they're completely healed,

right? Their spleen is missing.

What am I sick with?

Their IBS is gone.

Mental health. I don't know. [laughter]

Give me happiness.

Bottles are bedazzled.

Yeah. I don't know. Give me something.

Cure me. Give me happiness.

Please cure me.

the time I saw my dad get abducted by aliens

Okay. I have one for my listener, Hannah, and it's called The Time I Saw My Dad Get Abducted by Aliens. Not traumatizing at all.

Oh,

as in very traumatizing.

Yeah. Right.

Hey, Ghoulies.

First, she goes to therapy, then she emails us.

29:00

Yeah. And the aliens then come back and be like, "Sorry, here's recovered mental health. [laughter] We've cured you. Uh, I've been listening to your podcast for about a year now, and let's just say I'm addicted. I probably should set some boundaries and maybe take breaks from listening so I don't end up getting haunted." Well, where's the fun in that?

No, that's

my kind of ghoul, Hannah. Okay, so this is the story of when I witnessed my dad being abducted by aliens and then saw them again years later. M I grew up in rural Minnesota surrounded by farmland and dense forests and I was about 7 or 8 years old when this happened. My family was helping my aunt and uncle move out of their house which sat on a quiet country road tucked among the trees with the nearest neighbor about half a mile away. So secluded. We spent the entire day packing boxes and by the time we finished it was around 9:00 p.m. My mom and brother had already headed home in a separate car, leaving just my dad and I at the house. Before we left, my dad said he needed to grab something from the backyard. So, I waited in the truck listening to the local classic rock

30:00

station, not really paying attention to the time. But it did strike me as odd because he didn't come back right away. It should have taken him less than 30 seconds. He was just grabbing something from the backyard. Slowly, I start to worry and I look at the clock. Over 20 minutes had passed.

So, now panic starts to set in. I was too scared to go outside to investigate because the only weapons I had were tools that my dad kept in the truck door and I was just a little girl completely alone, very aware that my odds winning a fight against something that could take my dad down were not great. Then suddenly, as I'm looking around, the yard lit up with a blinding white light. It was just a flash, but it somehow felt like it lasted longer, stretching time itself. When the light faded, I looked to the backyard and there was my dad walking back toward me. His face was blank, almost emotionless, like he had just seen a ghost. When he finally got to the car, I asked where he'd been, and he said, "I just went to the backyard." He looked confused when I told him how long he had been gone. To him, he

31:00

thought he had been gone for less than 30 seconds,

but he's looking so right, like drained and

yeah, disheveled.

I asked if he'd seen the bright light. He hadn't. Later, he told me he did remember seeing a glowing white orb floating in the middle of the yard, but he said he thought maybe it was a guardian angel or the spirit of my uncle's sister who had passed away earlier that year. But how do you explain the missing time? To this day, I am convinced he was abducted that night. And low key, I'm thankful it wasn't me. Now, fast forward to when I was 15. We were driving home from my volleyball practice, winding down dark country roads, and my friend and her mom were following behind us. They witnessed everything that we did. So, we were not alone. M.

It was around 9 or 10 p.m. when we rounded a bend and saw a perfect circle of white lights in the sky moving toward us. At first, we thought maybe it was something from the nearby military base, like a drone or some experimental craft. So, we pulled over to watch it. The night was completely silent, and these lights moved all the way over to us,

32:00

hovering directly above our car. No sound, no movement. They just hung in the air like that, like they were watching us. My dad went to grab his phone to record a video, and the second he pulled it out, the lights shot off into the distance in a blink of an eye. Gone. This craft had been hovering over our car for a while, but the second he grabbed his phone, boom, gone. I've always wondered if these same aliens that I witnessed abduct my dad many years before were coming back to check up on him and they bolted when they realized he wasn't alone this time, or they saw him pull out his phone. It's been nearly 15 years since that encounter and as far as my dad remembers, he hasn't experienced anything strange. Dang.

But yeah, [sighs and gasps]

I think I saw my dad being abducted by aliens.

I kind of think so, too, cuz otherwise like explain the missing time. Explain the way that he's looking.

The blinding white light,

right?

He thought it was just a minute. If that Yeah, that's from Hannah.

Wow. Oh my god. I wonder if he's had any memories come back to him. I mean, it

33:00

sounds like even that moment of seeing like the little orb in the backyard didn't come back to him until after Hannah was like, "Hey, I think you were abducted by aliens."

And he's like, "Oh, well, I did see a weird white light." And like his brain jumped to guardian or something paranormal sense. Then he was like, "Okay." But if you don't know that, well, and also that just like proves that how many times do people think that they're just seeing like out of the peripheral vision a spirit or an orb or something

and there's no one else

to vouch for them that they're missing 20 minutes or that they missed 90 minutes of time. Like if there's no one else to tell you and you're not really paying attention, many more people could be being abducted and then have no clue.

Yeah. And it's not me sadly.

Mhm.

With regret. Regretfully yours, [laughter]

the UFO above my garage

Okay. I have one called the UFO above my garage.

Lovely.

And it does come with a picture. It's just a recreation, but the picture looks exactly like how the craft in the last story I told looks like.

Maybe all three of your stories are connected.

Maybe they are. If this one has a meteor, I'm going to vomit because I didn't plan on that and it's been like a month since I picked them, so I can't really remember. Okay. The UFO above my garage. Hello, ghouls. My mom and I absolutely love your podcast. She convinced me that I should write into you guys. Aw,

I've sent an email before, but after talking to my mom about this experience, I realized I actually got the story wrong. So now with more information, I will be telling you guys about the time that my whole family saw a UFO.

Oh, family family bonding.

Yep. In 2016, my family and I moved into our house after my little brother passed away.

Oh, I'm sorry.

This house is your classic horror movie house. A log cabin in the middle of the

36:00

woods down a long ass driveway. I will say just briefly looking at this photo reminds me of the house from Oh my why am I blanking hereditary.

Oh, looking at the actual log cabin one.

Yeah,

interesting. I can't remember what the house looks like in that. But it also kind of looks like half the houses near where my parents live now in Maine. Oh yeah. Oh my gosh, you're right. It really does. Okay, so if anyone's seen Hereditary, picture that house. It's a log cabin in the middle of the woods down a long ass driveway. It's surrounded by three ponds infested with snapping turtles. But you get it, the house is scary. Everything was going swimmingly until the summer. One night, we had just gotten home from my grandpa's house. And during that visit, my dad had told him about the night with the telescope. So on that night, we had brought out a telescope. And in doing so, we watched two lights that looked like stars separate and then quickly clash back together.

Very alien MMO.

Mhm. We were already on edge. We were very aware of the concept of aliens. And

37:00

after a while of being there, we decided to head home. I always hated the drive home from my grandpa's house. It was so ominous. And I quickly realized that it wasn't the drive home that I should be scared of. After pulling in the driveway and then parking, we all hear my dad say, "What the [ __ ] is that?" And my dad's a military guy. He's usually able to explain everything. And so hearing him immediately scared scared everyone.

Yeah.

My brother and I got out of the truck. We looked up above the garage and hovering just above the treeine was a giant black triangle with a red light in each corner. My brother and I kept looking at the UFO and then at my dad's face and we're searching for any sign of relief, but yeah, we found none. He provided no explanation.

Dad, you're supposed to make us feel safe right now.

Shar, well, how could he provide an explanation? There's a giant [ __ ] triangle hovering above our garage. So, he ushered us inside. We all start crying

38:00

and once inside we turned on a movie and I began coloring. My mom recalls feeling as though she were stuck in a trance.

Oh.

She remembers saying quote, "I really need to take a picture of this, but then she never attempted to lift up her phone or anything. It was like

she was in shock."

Yeah. She stood outside and watching this UFO just move west silently and then disappear as if it went through a portal. She finally decided to go inside after not seeing it again for a little bit. She said that once she got inside, she felt as if she were astral projecting. Not only was she outside of her body, but the movie that she said we had quote unquote just started was almost over.

But was she abducted?

Sounds like it. The picture I had just started coloring, well, that was already done. She recalls feeling as though she were outside for maybe 15 minutes, 25 tops, but in reality, she was gone for almost an hour.

Oo, I have like full.

I personally believe they did something to her, but who knows? About a year

39:00

after this experience, my little sister was born and she was keeping my mom up pretty late at night. My mom, exhausted, was rocking my sister back to sleep. She was just about to fall asleep when she looked up and across the room looking at her through a window was an alien figure just staring. Outside of this window is the roof of the lower level of this house. So if you stand on that roof and look in, you can see the rocking chair she was sitting in. Thanks for reading my story from Alyssa and Joanie.

Damn. Thank you for emailing this to us.

Mhm.

What the heck happened to your mom? [sighs] Like the fact that she was in a trance for so long and that her physical body could be there but the craft could be so far away.

Yeah. It's like feeling like almost like you were just put back into your body

and realizing that the last hour has been weird.

Yeah.

It's Yeah. And that's such a long time to just stand there and like your only

40:00

thought be I should take a picture of this and then it's just like kind of blankness and you're just completely frozen in space looking up at this thing until it finally moves away especially with your kids inside.

I know with your husband

so many people around. Yeah.

I'm also curious

understand how it works. I'm curious if the dad experienced anything because I mean fear

the two kids are watching the movie but don't you think like if like I'm just thinking about myself like if we just saw something weird and Brian stayed outside and he's been outside for 20 minutes like

wouldn't you going to go check on him?

Yeah. So they all were kind of in a trance.

Seems like it unless he did check on her and she said something like I'm okay.

I'm okay. I'm just looking.

Yeah. What was his perception of everything that was going on? What was his experience?

I think the scariest thing with aliens is the not knowing what happens in that missing time. Like if you look at repressed memories, the reason they're repressed is because they're hard to process or they're traumatic. You're not really repressing happy golucky memories

and butterflies. Like you're repressing

41:00

scary things. So it makes you think that bad things are happening in that lost time.

Yeah. Or like I guess in the whole vein of aliens wiping your memory, could it be nice for some but then not for others? cuz the SNL sketch,

right? Right. Like you just have to squat over a bucket and pee and have your boobs slapped by little alien. [laughter] Like,

you know, like that's the whole thing about trauma. Like one person, two people could be experiencing something and for one person it's this really monumental traumatic experience and for the other person it's like barely a memory

for them. And so it's just I almost wonder if like it's the aliens way of trying to like help humans by attempting to zap their memory of everything so they don't

but also are there various different types of aliens and like one group of aliens are good and the other group is

yeah true

bad. Well, I mean, think about like the crafts. Not that like we, you know, planes and aircrafts and helicopters, like everything can look different here, but I feel like so many alien crafts are

42:00

so similar. Like it's either like the triangle or

like the tic tac,

the tic tac or the circle or the boomerang. And it's like, are those different species or are those just different crafts?

We have different planes.

We do, but also we don't we're not really like that good at space travel, so maybe there's pretty specific parameters. You should watch Project Hill Mary. It's now available for streaming and it's just the most delightful movie. Like I'm gonna rewatch it already because I love it.

Okay, I'll watch it because that's also a Brian one so I can I can do it with her.

There's one little jump scare, but it's not a horror scare.

So I can warn him.

You'll know when it's coming. It's when Ryan's like walking towards the other craft for the first time like through the tunnel.

He's going to meet the little alien creature.

Yeah.

Okay.

Yeah.

are aliens studying / following my family?

end us on. It's from our listener, Mercedes, and it's our aliens

44:00

studying/following my family. Hello, I am a 30-year-old female and I would like to go by Mercedes. I recently found your YouTube channel and I'm addicted. I'm surprised I never stumbled across you guys, but now that I have, I'm totally binging your videos and I thought you'd maybe want to hear a couple of my stories.

Great.

She says, "By the way, you ladies are both gorgeous and have the perfect voice for your podcast." Thank you.

Thanks. That's very nice.

Except for my my

your sick voice now.

Yeah. Allergies.

Sick is allergies. It took my voice away and I haven't gotten it back because we are pre-recording so much. I don't think my voice has a second arrest.

Exactly. I think this week alone we're recording nine episodes.

Yeah, that's a lot. Okay. My whole life I've had weird encounters with ghosts, aliens, glitches, shifts, etc. I often refrain from telling these stories and fear people will think I'm crazy if I told them. My mom has always told me since I was a baby that I would laugh, giggle, and point at corners of the room where nothing was, which I never really took to heart until further events in my life. However, my grandma always told me

45:00

that she thought I was an alien, and that has always felt unsettling for me. Here's some context. When my grandmother was 23 years old, she lived in Castle Rock, Washington, where she owned a chicken farm with my grandpa.

One [clears throat] night, when she was doing farm work, she saw a floating object in the distance with flashing lights. Her curiosity peaked because she had never seen anything like this before. So, she started to focus on the object. Before she knew it, the object zoomed over her body and it was this gigantic saucer with thousands of blinking lights with all these different colors. She said that she in that moment became completely unhinged, started screaming, "Ah, they're going to get me." [laughter] And this spaceship shot up in the air, spun, and took off in the blink of a second.

Oh my god. Ever since then, she's been obsessed with aliens. Just [laughter] like her on a farm,

being intrigued, and then it getting close.

All the chickens are like, "Our leader, our leader, mama." So, she's been obsessed ever since. And I have heard this story hundreds of times while

46:00

growing up. and I listened. But I personally never experienced any alien activity. So I didn't give too much interest in her story until I started to experience these very strange, bizarre things in our home. Our house was on a private lake on the outskirts of Olympia, Washington. Growing up, this was a dense wooded area. There were two other teenagers on our small street around the same age as my brother and I. And at night, we would go on long walks and we would see weird things in the sky all the time, but nothing crazy ever happened. When I hit adulthood is when I actually have what I believe were encounters. First, it started up dreams. I knew they were aliens, but they looked like humans.

I had a specific dream one time when I was 18 years old where I was walking down our street and I saw a group of people taking pictures of this man. They start frantically asking this man questions and flashing lights were going off from cameras like paparazzi. People were trying to get in his face and film him and record him. and he was just walking up the hill to my house. He

47:00

wasn't paying anyone any mind, just continued to walk towards my house.

He got about a quarter up the street before I ran into him and the crowd. Once I saw him, I was instantly drawn to him. He was a white man, slightly buff build, who had medium brown shoulderlength hair with a 5:00 shadow. He had what looked like those cop sunglasses on and a leather jacket with regular blue jeans. I didn't try to speak to him because I felt there was no point. And I remember vividly all this chatter of about 25 people trying to get his attention. [snorts]

No response. He just continued to walk. And then I followed along his right side and we walked together. When I went to touch his forearm, he immediately stopped and turned to me and said, "Don't touch. You'll get a rash." And I don't want you to get that.

It's so weird that he's so accessible.

I know.

He's just there.

By that time though, I had already touched him, but maybe he didn't notice or I don't know, maybe it was too late. The next day when I woke up from this dream, you won't believe, but I had a rash all over my hand leading up to my

48:00

forearm. The hand that I touched him in my dream with.

My god.

So weird, right? Well, what's even more weird is that a couple days after that, there were these people who were moving into the house at the end of the hill. And you won't believe it. The man who moved into that house, who was the husband of the family, was the same man that I saw in my dream, the one who gave me the rash. Did an alien move into my neighborhood? What do you think about this? I have no idea, but maybe

my neighbor is married to an alien. That's another movie.

Yeah, my next door neighbor is an alien.

Dang, that's so weird to like have that dream, have the ration, and then have this What was your Yeah. Wait, what interactions did you have with this guy over the years? Like, did he have any?

Also, is he an alien celebrity and you saw like the paparazzi? They were like, "Oh, he's finally moving to Earth."

Yeah. Oh my god. He was sent on a mission to like be the little spy or is this literally their reality show? Like they watch him try to blend in with Earth.

The amount of reality shows that aliens could have [laughter] based on just watching humans.

49:00

Wait, what's the Is it Neighborhood Watch? Is that the movie where

they something is like

something weird is going on in the neighborhood. So they create a neighborhood watch and they're like trying to find the aliens. But what one of the guys I do remember on neighborhood watch is one of the aliens and he's like I just thought this is fun to join. I don't know if it's called that because what comes up is

I think like Seth Rogan.

Oh, wait. It is. But why is this image not look like what I remember? Okay, there's two.

Seth Rogan. It's from 2012. Four men form a neighborhood watch group as a way to get out of their day-to-day family routines only to find themselves defending the Earth from an alien invasion.

It's called Neighborhood Watch.

Or sorry, it's called The Watch.

Okay. Cuz Neighborhood Watch looks like it's more of a depressing movie. No, the watch has Ben Stiller, Vince Fawn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Coyote.

And why did I think that Seth Rogan was a part of it

because I feel like that's the type of movie he would do. Now I want to go have

50:00

a movie night,

right? There's so many good ones.

I'm actually about to go get a tattoo after this. I don't know what tattoos I'm getting. I don't know. There's this tattoo artist in LA. His name is Joey Hill. He works at Nightw Watch tattoo studio in Santa Monica. I've followed him for years. We have a lot of friends who've gotten tattoos from him. He posted on his story that he's gonna be in Boston like a couple months ago and I just DM'd. I was like, "Can I get an appointment and I've just been so busy researching and telling ghost stories that I have not spent any time figuring out what I'm going to get?" So, I'm just going to show up and see what happens

and see what happens. I feel like you've had a lot of ideas.

Yeah. But there's a lot of ideas of like things that I want to design with someone like based on memories or based on things in my life, but they don't exist online. Like I need to have an artist design it anyway.

Cool. Well, next time we record, Sabrina will be tatted.

Extra tatted. Anyway, if you have any alien encounters or paranormal stories in general, please email them to us at two girls podcast@gmail.com. If you have any tattoo inspiration, please send them my way because I will probably just

51:00

keep booking.

Have here and here and now. Here and now and here and

Amen. beam me up at

Yeah, you tell your aliens. When you abduct people, make the one thing they remember to go listen to your girls one ghost.

Damn, did the Neanderthalss have alien encounters? That thought just came through cuz like you know like everyone talks about like ancient aliens or whatever but like it's not that ancient.

No,

we're still talking about like kind of in the history and evolution of people like they're modern humans. If you have had a past life as a Neanderthal

and you remember your alien abduction,
