I will start with one of my worst experiences and end with a good one smart depends on who you ask okay first story when I was in college I would visit my boyfriend's house in Manchester New Hampshire at the time I was living in Salem Massachusetts so I was very in tune this house Vegas is what they call it do they mhm well it's also a frat house in this house was a total frat house but the only thing scarier than the mess was the ghost in the Attic my boyfriend's room was right underneath the attic and we would always hear footsteps up there we would go to see if one of his roommates was drunk up there wandering around but no every time we went to look nobody was up there one morning I woke up and my boyfriend had already left for work I heard a buzzing sound and immediately set out to see where it was coming from I opened the curtains in his room to see they were covered with hundreds of adult flies ew what the

dread I felt seeing adult flies covering his windows in the dead of winter after a quick panic and spraying the windows with bleach all of the Flies were dead but the spirit upstairs came to life even more after this I immediately left the house after killing all the Flies and I came back about a month later and that's when things really turned for the worse when my boyfriend and I went to bed that night I shot up from my sleep looked him dead in the eyes and said we're not alone oh my God that is the scariest I don't remember doing this terrifying oh my gosh maybe 15 minutes later I woke up with an Indescribable pain in my chest my upper body was convulsing so cute and I was crying saying it hurt and then suddenly something overcame me and I was not myself anymore I felt like I was pushed to the side and fell into a dreamlike state I kept trying to go into the attic alone which my boyfriend and his roommate who had found holy water in his car kept throwing it on me and they went up to the attic with me I kept yelling at them to leave me up there

alone the spirit wanted me to be up there just the two of us holy [ __ ] also I I never really thought about the initial possession hurting like the entity creeping into your body and trying to push you out I thought the pain kind of came after that's wild the best thing I can compare this to is the mom in the show Haunting of the Hill House the boys picked me up and carried me out of the house and then to the church across the street and I felt myself again so we went back into to the house and fell asleep the second I walked back into the house however I was once again in that dreamlike state wanting to go into the attic alone I yelled at my boyfriend telling him to go to sleep so I could be alone in the Attic W eventually and somehow I fell asleep my boyfriend apparently stayed up the entire night watching me the second daylight broke he picked me up put me in his car we went to my parents house which was in Massachusetts and we never went back to that house again yeah good don't we did look up the history of the home home and apparently a teenage boy

had died in the house of a rare lung disease so I don't know but there was definitely something or someone luring me into the attic okay my second story this is more heartwarming I went to Fort Lauderdale Florida with a couple of friends in 20121 and we had met up with some girls one of my friends knew so I didn't know any of them which is important because the second we got there I felt a father's presence and this man would not leave me alone so I looked around at this group of girls and my eyes narrowed in on one of the girls and I asked her did your father used to call you baby girl she started to cry uncontrollably no we went into the bathroom and her father talked through me talking about things the two of them used to do which I would never know since I just met this girl oh my gosh I like feel the panic in my heart of of her like the anxiety and just I know but how Chrissy you are magical I know to tap into that and also be able to have a whole conversation just beyond that like right I think your Dad's here I'm getting baby girl and to

year accommodation at University I went to the University of St Andrews in Scotland and when I moved into a small Terrace flat in my second year it was the creepiest year of my life the flat was built around 1910 but the decor was stuck in the 70s the flat was split into two floors me with my flatmate Katherine on the top floor and Millie and Charlotte on the bottom floor although not as old as the neighboring building in town it was generally creepy looking in the hallway there was this wooden altar that had a random red light bulb just stood up on it my room was in the Attic which had a built-in cupboard for storage and what I didn't realize was that there was also a crawl space there that was boarded up nice you can never have enough storage so I PRI it open and I found various vintage looking plushies staring at me plushies like stuffed animals guess like stuffed animals yeah and some old sleeping bags I instantly noted and I boarded it up again and I placed my bookcase in front of the door for good measure okay yes creepy but it makes me think of like a young child

making like a fort in there like I lived in my closet for so many years because I loved like well into high school like I sometimes it just feels like safety and secure and it was just like a fun place to play like it was my little like your Nook your own little private Nook exactly I lived with three other girls and we all had the same feeling of intense unease and various things would happen around us it actually got so bad that we would be scared of taking a shower alone with the door closed we would take turns where one person would shower whilst the other would sit and talk this is like early days of our podcast where after we would stop recording you always had to be on FaceTime with me while I showered yeah we would do this just so we weren't alone as we always felt like there was someone there watching us I had moved in first on my own in the summer for work one evening I heard footsteps going upstairs I didn't think anything of it and I assumed that it was the Flats next door I went upstairs to go grab something and it sounded like someone was walking in my room creaking at the floorboard I instantly felt sick and I ran downstairs thinking that there was an intruder I called my mom on FaceTime

for comfort and went back to check but there was no one there thinking it was next door again I just Shrugged it off and this would happen regularly I would be sitting downstairs I would hear footsteps going on upstairs and then walk in the room above the living room my room and there would be nothing I then met my neighbors when term started and St Andrews is a small University so I actually already knew most of them I said to them you guys should have come around during the summer I was in the flat on my own turns out they weren't in St Andrews during the summer so yeah there actually wasn't anyone occupying any of the Flats next door you were alone with some ghosties MH near the start of my turn my next door neighbor Michael texted me asking if Catherine was okay I said why and he replied that he just saw Catherine crying on the steps of our front door Catherine was away at home in London so I asked what the girl looked like he said she had long brown hair covering her face and her head was in her hands she was sobbing well sad I know he tried to ask

her if she was okay but she wouldn't reply and therefore he texted me that's also very creepy yeah that's very creepy but that makes me think that it's like a residual energy that's not interacting but like what is residual energy is it still like a piece of a soul like is anything chipped off or is it just like a stain in the in memory or is it a glitch in Timeline I'm like do I feel sad about residual energy or am I indifferent am I Blas I don't know I think I feel sad just because anyone crying I mean I guess it depends what the digal energy is right and how how does it affect the person like that person's soul yeah great questions good questions good questions no answers I went outside to check and there was no one there the entrance to the flat was situated down a dark dirt path off the main road so someone would have had to go out of their way to come and sit on our steps M weird things then started happening in the flat with all of us together batteries would go missing personal items would be moved around the flat and we all asked each other please just stop messing around we were already creeped out by the flat itself and the

crying girl incident my next door neighbors would also have these weird feelings and weird things happen to them plates would go missing cabinet doors would open overnight and batteries would also go missing I don't know what the significance of the batteries are it's just so weird that we both experience that it's also interesting cuz it's like it doesn't sound like they saw these objects physically move it was like they were pulled through a Time Warp of some kind was it last encounters or maybe recently where it was like we realized through someone else's story it was about a brush in a room they had like booby trapped the zipper with a piece of hair and so like that hair was still intact the zipper of the suitcase had not been unzipped but the brush had been moved right so it just like dematerialized and rematerialized it wasn't actually like floating through space for us to physically see yeah I had lived in many houses and flats over the years and I never felt like someone was watching me before especially when I would get undressed and my boyfriend never believed any of this but actually did admit that he started hating stay overnight because he always felt uneasy

myself Millie and Catherine would get really scared and worked up to the point that we just could not sleep alone but luckily Charlotte would always be there to calm us down and be the voice of reason it was near the end of the year when we were ready to move out and we were in Katherine's room I mentioned how this year had been really fun but I can't wait until we move out Katherine turned to Charlotte and said should we tell them yes they then proceeded to tell me that Charlotte actually experienced the worst paranormal activity at of all of us poor Charlotte in the early hours of the morning Charlotte walked into the bathroom past the stairs she felt someone staring at her and so she turned around and there was an old woman in a nighty standing on the stairs staring forward she then turned around and continued to go upstairs towards mine and Katherine's Room Charlotte said she didn't feel threatened so she just remained calm she went to the toilet and then she went back to bed this would happen quite regularly and decided she should keep this quiet as it would probably scare the rest of us was it always the same

two separate buildings the building I live in we'll call it building a was built in 1959 the second building we will call Building B was built in 1935 and also Lexi did tell us the school but out of sake of staying somewhat Anonymous we're not going to share it on the podcast not like me Googling and speculating what colleges other people go to yeah I had a feeling you'd want to know and you were about to ask well you can you can look okay it's at the very bottom of the email which that's for all of you if you want to share a story but like hide locations or specific details even change names you can do that and be more Anonymous well I'll only say one thing about this location whatever is about to happen it makes sense It's a Spooky Place yeah okay so now for some layout information because it's important for later building a is shaped like an H with four floors in total counting the ground floor it also has a recck room in the basement and Building B on the other hand is a royal cluster [ __ ] of a layout when Building B was built it was used as a men's dormatory

up until World War II when it was then converted into Air Force Barracks so there's tons of cool history surrounding the building and even now you can see the original metal doors and dents where drill sergeants would take the butts of their rifles and bang on the doors to not to wake people up but like I said the storm is a cluster [ __ ] Building B does not have a normal layout in the slightest it is all sweet style meaning the rooms connect to a shared bathroom with two to six other people but there are no hallways there's a stairwell that leads up to each Suite so instead of having floors we call them entries so they're entries a through K with a common area underneath entries a through b it's kind of like Apartments yeah yeah so my first story and each story is titled which I love black orb during my fall semester there was a day I was sitting in my room on FaceTime with my mom I was sitting at my desk which is pushed up against a wall on the one end of my room as I was talking to her I suddenly saw a black orb the size of silver dollar shoot across my room up

like hearing [ __ ] you were having a bad experience I was somewhere else yeah I was worried about you and a little scared of you I probably almost died but you didn't no I woke up and army crawled back to my dorm so while on this community walk I go into entry a in Building B and I go down the stairs to the common room that is under that entry to get into the common room you have to open a door that is so old it doesn't even latch shut I walk up to the door twist the handle and push but the door doesn't budge so my first thought is that someone was holding the door shut again I try to push it open and I put some weight behind it this time but again it doesn't budge for a third time I throw my shoulder into the door and it pops open easily mind you I was fully expecting to see a human person on the other side of the door but nope I opened the door and it was Pitch Black in the common room the room had always given me the creeps but after that experience I will not walk through there in the dark story number three fifth floor footsteps as I mentioned earlier in building a there are only four floors one of my

really good coworker friends lives on the floor above me which is the fourth floor but she always hears footsteps above her ooh there is no fifth floor there is no attic just the roof that no one has access to I'm so curious if this could be all the same haunting or like it is a dorm that has seen so many different people over the years that this could just be so many different energies too right and it has a rich history too mhm Story number four shadow person me and two other raas often see black full human figures walking in our rooms out of the corners of our eyes personally I mostly to see it by my doorway however one of my co-workers before she was in ra thought she saw her roommate Sprint from their door to her bed the kicker her roommate was fast asleep in bed e ew the sprinting that makes it so much worse well okay there's so many theories that could be with that where it's like did the roommate's Soul momentarily ashel project and it like ran back to her body or was there a spirit running to her roommate's body

which is scarier that's scarier I really hope it's just like a astral Pro thing yeah Story number five the boy in the cry cut room which is their machine that cuts things for them I don't know that's I've never seen a one of those me Nei but here is where things start to get a little crazy these next two stories are not mine this is one from my coworker who we will call Aspen in Building B we have the room called The Cry cut room and we call it that because it's where we house all of our supplies to make our bulletin boards and our cry cut which is a little machine that cuts things out for you oh oh the cricket it's called Cricket it's a like a printer oh people use it for like wedding planning and stuff you can make signage you can make decals you can it's literally called a cricket yeah okay it's a cricket room you get one a Best Buy Target never even seen one Aspen is a full-blown witch they practice with Dees and are very in tune with their spirituality which this is cool that like you're brought you and Aspen were connected and now Aspen could be your little guide into that name I love that name chronicling that one I

chronicled Millie from earlier last story Aspen has lent me a book about spells and I'm trying to convince my co-workers to have a Ouija board session with Aspen's board in the abandoned dining hall under Building B Lexi you creepy anyway Aspen went into the cry cut room to make a bulletin board as one does the desk with the cry cut is on the wall opposite the closet that has most of the materials this means your back is turned to that little closet at all times FML [ __ ] my life Aspen turned around from the cry cut to Cricket [ __ ] it's okay the printer the printer okay yeah I might need to change it Aspen turns around from the cricket to get something out of the closet and sees a tall blonde blueeyed boy around our age peeking out from the closet huh I get chills every time they tell this story with the building being 90 years old and the campus being 157 years old there have been a number of deaths in the building and in the surrounding areas we think he is a trap soul of a

college student who used to live in the building or one of the Frat houses next to the dorm and is just curious what we're doing he likes when we play our music out loud and I always stay hi when I go into the cricket room side note everyone on staff even ones that are religious and don't believe in ghosts feel his presence in the room wow and it's more intense in the closet he means no harm and it's just curious I wonder why he chose the closet why are closets paranormally active maybe it is kind of like a weighted blanket for the yeah for you in the Paranormal world just kind of like having that like quiet dark close space you feel almost like cocooned in a way or is it accidentally creating like a vacuum of energy H like a little like tube to keep them interesting okay six our mimic hold on to your butts everyone because this story freaks me the F out uh oh this story also involves Aspen but it happened to Aspen's best friend who is also an RA who we will call Mal Mal Aspen and one of their friends were in

the recck room in building a one night doing homework Mal had to go up to her room for a bit and left Aspen and the friend in the recck room Mal was gone for long enough so when she went to find Aspen she assumed that Aspen would be back in their room in building be so Mal walks down there and when she gets to the door she hears Aspen and the other friend talking from inside the room Mal knocks and suddenly hears the voices go quiet and then say shh she's here be quiet Mal obviously little hurt thinking her friends are trying to ignore her gets out her phone and texts Aspen door to say come answer your door and stop being a dick Aspen responds what Mal texts back saying answer your door I can hear you in there Aspen then says Mal we're still in the recck room so creepy so there's two spirits and it sounded like Aspen another thing about Aspen is they always leave their door unlocked so what does mal do like the total crazy would die first in a horror movie person she is she opens the door and there she finds the room pitch black with no one

in it oh my God and that's how they found out we have a mimic in the building holy crap although some of these stories are a bit off-putting everyone here agrees that none of the spirits feel malicious in any way no one in staff lives in fear we're all weird and love talking about paranormal and exchanging stories with each other I work my duty shifts with Aspen and Ma which is when I asked them if they had any ghost stories and that's when they told me these it was a great way to start off the year welcome to your new home by the way there's so mimic loose in the building living in luxury here here are some honorable mentions that don't have full stories but I've heard KNX from inside rooms when there are no residents in the building I've been in the shower and heard the bathroom door open like someone walked in but it never opens again for someone to leave also the ghost cow in the school's Bell Tower what # cows can't go downstairs so it's not a funny prank to lead a cow up the bell tower but you would think that a school that was found founded as an agricultural college would have students

just started listening to your podcast and I'm loving it thanks for the stories to make my commute not so boring I went to college at CSU Channel Islands in kamaro California which is formerly known as kamaro state mental hospital is it on the Channel Islands maybe I don't know anything about this there's bunch of islands off of Camaro yeah like people go do like a bunch of like outdoorsy kaying and like oh um there's a bunch of like is it like a Catalina Island thing or is it smaller like the Channel Islands are they're near there I didn't realize that there are buildings on them like alcat yeah my gosh I don't know well we don't know theorizing okay it was operated as a mental hospital from 1933 to 1997 so you can imagine a mental hospital in that period of time was just not a happy place for these patients then in 2002 it became a university that is obviously known as being extremely haunted it's a beautiful campus but many buildings are still abandoned and were left in their original state from the time of the hospital all attach pictures okay so it's not on the actual Islands it's like near Oxnard and

cimo that makes sense okay I was a student assistant there and in the summer it was absolutely dead but I was still working 40 hours a week we talked a lot to the campus police who visited our office a lot for Midday chats and also if you hear any background noise there's some vacuuming happening outside of our studio if you see the Shadows that's more because people are going to see shadows in the doorway it's not a ghost it's not a ghost the campus police ended up unlocking some of the abandoned buildings and would show us the padded rooms and old creepy places on campus the janitor also visited us often during the summer and told us a good creepy story I love that I know also can I just say I have this memory it's not even a memory this is just a fact it made me so sad freshman year living in whan the janitor at the time like basically wrote us all a note and posted it all over the dorm saying how grateful he was for like this group of students to come through because we always stopped and talked to him and smiled at him and like communicated with him and he said that

he had been used to basically just being completely ignored for years like no one would look at him that's heartbreaking right that's so sad I know the janitor also visited us often the summer and told us a good creepy story one night he was vacuuming a long hallway down Bell Tower Bell Tower is now where our classes are held but you can tell it was once a hospital Ward and I definitely hated using the bathrooms there because there was just such an unsettling feeling the janitor said that he was vacuming when all of a sudden the machine shut off he thought it was weird and he looked down at the Long Haul and realized that it had been unplugged even though there was still plenty of slack in the cord he didn't really get creeped out at this moment he just walked back down the hallway plugged the vacuum back in and then went back to work and then it happened again again he walked back down the hall he plugged it in double checked this time it was definitely plugged in and he was definitely a little creeped out he went back to work and for a third time the vacuum turned off he looked down the hall and sure enough it had had been unpl plugged for the third time the janitor was so scared

at this point because it was 1:00 in the morning and he was alone in a creepy building so he just respectfully said can you please stop I have to get work done so I can provide for my family oh he said after that it never happened again and he has many more stories but this one was my favorite from him that's also really creepy I mean being alone in a building by yourself late at night is already creepy but to feel like something that is not physically visible to you is messing with you in some way is just like I'm glad it respected their boundaries I agree my coworker and I decided to go ghost hunting on campus one night because we loved talking about the history of the campus and we were really into paranormal at the time that's what you and I would do I know also sounds like you're still into the Paranormal we rented a nice camera from the library to take photos and decided to walk around the campus at dusk we got to the north quad which was honestly the creepiest place for me on one side of the Quad was new building that's where the classes were and on the other side were all the abandoned buildings that

were still a little unsettling you and I would be so breaking into that building envious of the fact that you have abandoned buildings at your school that we didn't like no we still were breaking into yeah locked buildings locked buildings yeah people always forget at least one door or window we walked around the north quad and we tried taking pictures of this one building it had a door that had a ramp going up to it and on the Second Story above the door was a balcony with three French doors remember these remembering for some crazy reason the camera would not take a picture of this building you would just click click click and hear the photo being taken but the screen would stay black and nothing would happen and then you would turn the camera to the right stamp a picture no problem it would come up and that was a warning but we definitely didn't listen and did not leave this building alone instead my cooworker decided to try and open the door she walked up the ramp she jiggled the handle nothing happened it was locked so she started walking back down the ramp to us and when she was halfway down the ramp we all heard the

door knob jiggle by itself everyone froze and my cooworker decided to try to open the door one more time maybe it had unlocked itself she went back to the door and I swear as soon as she put her hand on the door knob aoud bang was heard from inside and all three of the French doors on the balcony above swung open and shut by themselves all at the same time terrifying terrifying but also hilarious if it's a ghost messing with oh my God yeah y'all I ran for my damn life everyone for themselves I have never experienced the Paranormal so clearly I tell the story and I forget it was real but recently I saw one of my old co-workers and she brought it up when we were all together and it was just so terrifying to remember and realizing that yeah this isn't just a story because five of us really did see this and experienced it together it was terrifying jeez there were also several times automatic paper towel dispensers would go off by themselves in the middle of my lab lecture classes there was a story have a woman on the campus asking where the chapel is and she'll disappear

to communicate with them this was also around the time that my mom gave me three porcelain dolls that she had collected when she was in high school one day I had my friend who sees spirits and monsters come over and we talked to the spirits in my house we started in my room and I already had dowsing rods so we used those me and my friend were listening to Emo music at the time too and when he held the rods they started swinging to the music whoa we started talking to one of the spirits in the room and we learned a lot about her her name was Bethany and she was 6 years old she apparently used to live in my bedroom when it was an apartment and she loved my friend after talking to Bethany for a while my friend started to see and feel her Bethany would run around my room dance tap him on the back and we could feel her energy she made us feel giggly and she was so very sweet I asked her if there was anything I could do to make her feel more at home and I asked if she liked toys since she was only 6 years old she told us that she wanted one of the porcelain dolls my mom gave

me so we let her pick out which one she wanted she picked the doll with long curly blonde hair and blue eyes the doll was wearing a long blue dress and a blue hat that matched then we asked her where she wanted the doll and she pointed to my closet so that's where we left her wow I couldn't personally see Bethany or communicate with her on my own but I would always say hi to her and tell her about my day whenever my friend came over we would always talk to Bethany and we later found out that that she ended up inside the doll she would ask to be moved to different places in my room every time we talk to her she once told me she liked to lay next to me while I slept but I didn't like that so I asked her to please stop and she did that's so interesting like she left the doll's body at night and slept next to Lee which I'm glad that she has the ability to move to and from and she didn't just accidentally get herself stuck in the vessel yeah she respected my boundary one time Bethany asked me to put her on my bed while I was at school so she could be next to the stuffed animals and she was even able to show us which squish M was her favorite I would have a

left because there's nothing for her to pull energy from with me being gone but I'm sad I had a lot of fun talking to her and her energy was delightful to be around I'm going to miss having her here anyway here's my bonus story my significant other is a witch in a medium when they are falling asleep or in their half asleep State spirits will often talk to them or show them things on this night I was in my dorm on FaceTime with my partner I was getting ready to go to sleep and they were in that half asleep state you were chatting about something random and then out of nowhere my partner very calmly says there's a nun standing in your closet I was like excuse me what and they just repeated there is a nun standing in your closet I asked why is she standing in my closet and got no answer my partner proceeded to narrate everything that the nun was showing them she's out of your closet she's looking at you she's in your bathroom she's looking in the mirror above the toilet that last one really got me this is so scary terrifying I'm also imagining Lee's partner is totally in this trance yeah like it zonked out

so this last one really got me because there is no mirror above my toilet so I asked my partner why is there a mirror above my toilet I don't have a mirror above my toilet to that they responded yeah but you know what mirrors are Lee they're portals after that I was silent and my partner said now she's looking in your shower she's pointing out how gross your shower is okay all right now she's in your roommate's room she is sitting on your roommate's bed now she is in your roommate's closet now she is laying in your roommate's bed what a noisy noisy a nosy nun but also maybe a little bit noisy also is the roommate in the bed oh gosh I didn't same time I decided to ask what the nun looked like and my partner described her as being very ugly with a really long pointy nose oh when I talked to my partner the next day my partner had no recollection of any of this what the heck a few days later I had my first sleep paralysis experience I had opened my eyes and there there she was she was standing by the door just staring at me that nun I can't really

describe her but she looked angry and she did really have a long nose too during my paralysis I couldn't move or talk I wanted to yell at the nun I wanted to tell her that she was not welcome here I do have a witches ladder that my partner made me for protection and I wanted to grab it and hold it up to her but I couldn't move it felt like it lasted for hours and when I actually woke up my heart was racing and I was sweating a few days later after this sleep paralysis incident my roommate went home for the weekend so I was there by myself while my roommate was gone the bathroom light stopped working so I had to use a flashlight when I went to the bathroom and my flashlight shut off on me when it turned back on there was a spider hanging from the shower rod o o when but also spiritual very spiritual very paranormal I tried to change the lightel but I'm too short to reach I tried to use my step stool a chair the step stool and the chair so dangerously and I also tried to reach with a vacuum I had some friends come over to try to fix it but
